I don't see read items - white text on white background. With any settings. Always.
Really liked this add-on. Can't find a good alternative. Hope it will be updated soon, since it failed after ff 49 update.
Excellent add-on, author has done a great job on this over the years. FF49 definitely broke it though.
Brilliant add-on and one I have been using for years. Hoping that whatever firefox v49 has done to break it can be fixed.
Edit: v1.4 now awaiting approval from Mozilla so hopefully not far from being fixed now. Protejohnny fixed the issue pretty much straight away - what a champion!
Also - although I'm all for a more secure browser, it seems odd that future Firefox improvements will cripple add-ons such as LiveClick, one of reasons I have stuck with FF for so long now.
I really hope someone picks up the project...
Very good, I use it rather more frequently than feedly, for which I do a backup in dynamic bookmarks, I update every 180 minutes & it works like a charm !! thx !!!
I wish the firefox notification bottom right popup thing could be implemented in the options (for "now updating in progress", and lets go crazy : alerts -even if I dont use it ATM)
Good, but have some odds; version 1.0.1 seems to be not working on Linux, although it works well on Windows...
Works, but has odd behaviour: sometimes rss popup list folds into 1 item scrollable menu instead of opening up (there are > 30 news in feed).
Awesome extension. Has been working flawlessly with Xmarks for a long time now!
Try it, You'll Love it! Should be preinstalled.
Little suggestion: please, consider an option to increase the most number of elements for each site, if necessary with a forced behaviour. Thanx
Could be done better. All I wanted was to be able to have the icon change when there was an unread item. It refuses to show the default icon in linux, even when the "display favicons" box is unchecked (instead displaying a blank space, even *overwriting* userstyling to do so).
Ended up removing after working with it, the DOM inspector and Stylish for about half an hour. Complete waste of time and effort.
And it hasn't been updated since last year..?
Unfortunately only standard icons are displayed :(
I have used LiveClick for years, but suddenly it keeps breaking. FF 25 was iffy, but it consistently breaks on FF 26. Live Bookmarks suddenly stop checking. Disabling LiveClick and re-enabling it gets it to work again.
works fine on my firefox 25 for windows
One of the very best extensions to manage RSS feeds. Briefly broke Live Bookmarks in Firefox 25, but updating to 25.0.1, the problem is fixed.
Excellent addon for just about everyone. Simply put, Live Bookmarks make little sense without LiveClick. Glad to finally see it out of beta and fully compatible. This is definitely one of those "why doesn't Firefox come with this to begin with" addons, so do yourself a favor and use it!
My favorite RSS tool. Lots of great options
Now works with FF22. I don't know why, but even version 1.0.0b3 worked for FF22 for me, but happy to know that it has been updated with some nice changes as well.
As everyone, I was shocked when I read that Reader will be shut down, but I also understood that using third party tools like Reader is not Web compliant: with Reader I didn't go to websites anymore. So I tried firmly to find alternative tools, and tested everything I found (feedly, netvibes, oldreader, bamboo, sage, brief, feed sidebar, news fox, simple RSS reader, mpage, maybe some others) and nothing worked for me. Websites like feedly are too shiny/glossy and addons didn't make it (e.g lots of bug, features missing, bad GUI, ect). Until I add LiveClick, and it's really good. I think there are always new features that could be added to a tool like that. Thank you and happy coding!
The latest developer version (automatically updated) 0.5.0.0b4 works with 18.0.1 (current released), 19 beta, 20 Aurora and 21 Nightly. Way to go!
Please keep live the proyect
Well, if it did work in 17 beta 4 it doesn't work now as of the release of FF 17. :-(
Started working again as of Firefox 17.0 Beta 4.
What skitteringspider said. Please update! This is a great add-on!
Please update! I really liked this addon!
