Just what I needed Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This add-on is just what I needed, now that iGoogle is going. However, it would be better if it was restartless and could be used as a toolbar button with just an icon. The icon could change colour when there's a new item.

Also, it slows down Firefox at start-up, so that will need to be better managed.

Hi,
Thank you for this addon!
I am trying beta version 0.5.0.0b3 in Firefox 13.0 and file "liveclick.sqlite" in profile folder is growing-up (4,4MB now) each time i run Firefox. I thing that a maintenance/cleaning function must be added for this file.

Thanks

I downloaded the original liveclick several years ago. It is a wonderful and very useful feature on my firefox browser. Thanks for coming up with the beta for FF 13! Works great!

Excellent. I was always expecting Firefox to do display the content of feed in the tooltip as you have done.

A very vey thanks to the developer of this addon. I hope Firefox will implement it by default.

Feature request: please allow the tooltip previews to be my choice of text, image, or both, on a feed-by-feed basis. I have some feeds that are online comics, and the image is all-important while the text is meaningless. Also, some parsing of the text contents in the preview (e.g., bold, italics, etc.) would be appreciated.

Problems with Fx 14.0 pre Rated 5 out of 5 stars

There are no menu entries except of "open feed" in feeds on the personal toolbar anymore. But as workaround they still get shown if they are in subfolders.

No longer working properly. Rated 3 out of 5 stars

On the latest nightly builds for around the last month or so, LiveClick has gone from working about half the time to not working at all. RSS feeds are uploaded but the dropdown menus for them won't populate. Can anyone suggest an alternative to this which features roughly the same functionality? I know there are plenty of rss scrollers and sidebars, but I'm simply not interested in wasting the space or the resources on such things. Having my feeds in the bookmark toolbar has always worked perfectly for me and save for changing browsers I don't see any addons right now that will let me continue to do this. I'm rating LiveClick a 3 as it's still working with older versions and has served me well over the years, but if the author isn't going to keep it current it doesn't deserve a higher rating than that. Either tell us you've dropped it or get someone to takeover for you. :p

*edit* In subfolders you say?
Not as far as I can tell, they still simply don't show anything. Once in awhile right after I start FF they show for the very first click on each feed, but after that it's right back to blank city.

Again compatibility problem with personaltitlebar Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Since halfaway version and 10 and into version 11, we have once again the favicon problem in combination with PersonalTitlebar.

When bookmarks or feeds are placed in the title bar, the favicons or the custom text in bold don't show up unless the menu is shown and hidden every time you open up the browser (or the customization panel opened and closed.)

I am pointing out this compatibility problem to the other extension as well. :)
