Could have been great, because this addon allow to show a very useful information. But sadly it is impossible to copy the extracted URL (no context menu is shown on a right-click)... so it is completely useless.
I decided to post this for the other disqus users that may be having the same issues I did. At first I thought it was my adblocker but after hours of ...never mind, I don't want to even think about it...It is a very cool addon but it doesn't play well with Disqus. When posting a comment, the 'Post' button works but the 'Edit', 'Up/Down arrows' don't. Instead you are bounced back to the top of the page. Quick remedy was to just disable Linkwalker when using Disqus. Hope this helps someone out there.
Very useful still, but one cannot copy the links on the linkwalker window without first opening them (right click+copy does not work --the context menu doesn't appear-- nor can one highlight the link text to then ctrl+c). That would be a helpful feature for me...
This looks to be a very useful little addon. I've just started using it and exploring its features. However, based on the thumbnail and description, I mistakenly thought it would show all links on the linked page. In other words, if you pop up LinkWalker on a link in Google Search, and the linked page had on it an "About Us" link, a "Contact Us" link, and a "Products" link, I thought LinkWalker would list those links. Obviously, I misinterpreted the thumbnail and description. But the addon has many other uses. Might the developer consider adding such a feature, or would it be too cumbersome or not fit the addon's intended purpose?
I like this. If you're unsure of a link you can check it first, and by being just an option in the context menu it's not obtrusive when you don't need it. There's other addons that do some of this, but I found no one with the exact same functionality. So I missed it when it was no longer compatible with my browser. However I finally decided on trying out the method as described in previous review: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Editing_an_add-on_to_change_its_compatibility And it does AFAIK work just fine with firefox 3.6.12, as I'm currently using. So hopefully it's just a small job bringing this addon back up to compability. I really hope the author will maintain this and make it available for 3.6.x and eventually 4.x...
Thanks for making this great add-on, but it is not compatible with version 3.6 I've updated Firefox to version 3.6.2 and this add-on just stopped working. It says this add-on is not compatible with this version....... PLEASE UPDATE THIS ADD-ON TO SUPPORT LATEST VERSION OF FIREFOX
HI! you could maybe make the fonts bigger-or to choose fonts size of the preview of the links. Thank you very much, very beautiful add-on, serves its purposes. One of the best-for me personally-really I am not kidding. If I could give you more then 5 stars
Hi foxxx. Thanks for the very positive review, and for your comments. The popup uses fonts and sizes based on your system settings - Firefox also uses these settings for menus and dialogs. I'd rather not break with that convention, but will have a think about it. I'll be issuing an update soon with some improvements. Cheers.
