Pretty useful, at least a lot more so than my university's javascript thingy. My only problem is that it also does the pop up thing on wikipedia pages, which can be quite annoying.

Good in theory but in practice this extension is a massive resource hog. There's no reason a functionality as simple as notifying/redirecting a set of predefined sites to a login page should use up so many CPU cycles.

This add on often overrides normal access to the most random websites, making it impossible to view some sites because the add-on forces me to visit a different site or just plain refuses to let me in. There should be a prompt to continue as a non-Institution user or use my institution's credentials. I've disabled the add-on as it interfered so badly with day to day browsing of news and research sites that I need for work rather than my studies.

The extension creates pop-ups which are unnecessarily big and don't disappear automatically after some time.
Sometimes the pop-ups are useful when they provide a link to an alternative access site.
Most of the times, the pop up simply states that an article has been unlocked.
The pop-ups block a bit less than 1/4 of the web page, completely unnecessarily in either case.

It would be very much appreciated if this could be fixed since the extension works well otherwise.

This add on is a helpful tool for saving time when scouring google scholar. However there aren't any options to disable pop-ups. I'd like to disable the 'announcement' style pop ups which aren't giving me any new information.

Ideal for doing research off-campus. Although I would like to use it on-demand so I can just click the extension icon when I need it. Now on a lot of web pages where I don't need the extension it shows a pop-up, which is quite annoying.

Really good module but I have one complain. Some of my own subscriptions (for newspapers) are supperior to the one my university provides. Could you implement a easy on/off switch or an exclusion list for certain websites? Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much for your feedback. This is on our roadmap and I'll record your request as another signal to help prioritise it appropriately. If you contact us at support@leanlibrary.com, we might be able to assist you to "work around" this behavior, or work with your library to improve the setup for all users at your institution! We look forward to hearing from you soon!

We know that lots of requests are made for articles unavailable from the publishers, but included in library collections elsewhere. This extension helps people find the material that can access for free and so get on with their research.

Unfortunately, this Add-on doesn’t have any iOS browser access. This is rather unfortunate, as most of by journal browsing is done on iOS devices. This renders the new access via Lean Library (versus ezyproxy) rather inadequate for my needs.

    Dear Aeolus,

Thank you for reviewing Lean Library. iOS currently does not provide any means for browser extensions and thus we are unable to serve your needs. We are looking into creating an adequate solution for iOS and Android. Feel free to reach out to us at support@leanlibrary.com, if we can assist you!

    Greetings

    Claus
