I installed it on my Mac (FF3.6.17) and it does add a new sidebar that displays the bookmarks library. Only one thing is missing, the properties dialog. Instead the user has to make a context menu selection for each URL, because the property pane will not stay open. (In my bookmark organizer, it displays by default.)Except for that detail, this add-on would be perfect for organizing bookmarks and annotating fragmented pages. But as it is now, it does not add anything over the regular bookmark organizer and bookmarks sidebar that I can see a need for.

Well done, but untill then.. (I may want to fork this sometime..)

This addon would be PERFECT, except for one major annoyance. There is not a convenient way to edit bookmark properties - you have to right click the bookmark and select "Properties" - I could have done that in the regular FF bookmarks sidebar! :-( Is it possible to have the Properties pane (which appears after right clicking and going to Properties) ALWAYS OPEN, just like in the normal FF library window? If so, please specify how this can be done, and if not, can you implement this (at least as an option) in the next release? You already have the pane showing up when a particular bookmark is right-clicked and "Properties" is selected, so I would imagine it would not be too difficult to make the Properties pane permanently visible. Otherwise, great job and great idea! Thanks so much!!

Very Good and Useful.

I think Tags should have been shown in he sidebar by default. Now that it isn't, this extension does good to fill this gap.

This is good, but with the new suport for tags what about developping a sidebar that only shows all tags like the del.icio.us ¿?
