UI need update/timeboxing feature wanted Rated 3 out of 5 stars

needs a more userfreindly UI and i would much rather have the option of having leech block prompt us to decide how much time we will spend on a site when we visit it. so essentially time boxing our activity on each site we visit that is on a list.

Very helpful tool! The possibility of setting a time limit for blocks is very useful. You don't end up disabling the tool out of frustration when you just want a quick look at a website, but ensures that you don't linger too long.

After spending 15 minutes configuring it to block (and whitelist) sites, it spears me
a lot of wasted time. Thanks, James!

A wonderful productivity tool for those of us with weak wills and an overwhelming desire to procrastinate by reading blogs and such. Very configurable to block (and unblock) at different times, or with time limits. Works well, causes no problems, and definitely increases productivity.

really good choice Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Leechblock made me a human being again. I was totally adicted to social webs. Now I sleep a lot more, spend a lot more time with my family etc.

I recommend it.

Allowed time periods works.
Time limits easily circumvented: they only apply when the window is in focus. Hopefully this can be improved for the next version, would be 5*.

I love this addon! It saves me so much time. I'm one of those people who can spend hours just browsing news websites and Wikipedia, when I should be doing work.. But I really feel bad afterwards.. Well, no more!

This extension has saved me hours and hours of time wasted.

It's difficult enough to change the settings that I never do it.

LeechBlock and IE Tab Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Is there any way to get LeechBlock to work with the IE Tab plug-in? I need IE Tab to open certain websites, but then I can circumvent LeechBlock by just opening websites in IE Tab instead (which isn't subject to LeechBlock).

Version 0.4.2 is lifechangingly good.

Version 0.4.2.2 is unusable. It includes the following new "feature": whenever you get blocked, LeechBlock deletes the URL of the site you'd been on from your browser history. Therefore, you can't go back and access it even once your block period ends. WTF? Strongly recommend clicking "See All Versions" and scrolling down to download 0.4.2 instead of 0.4.2.2.

Works flawlessly as far as I'm concerned. I keep long text files of the sites I want to block, for easy input into different Firefoxes on different computers.

For even better self-discipline, it's too bad it doesn't also block Internet Explorer (but that's hardly the developer's fault, lol) but really, because IE is such a crappy browser, you soon stop trying to circumvent Leechblock's restrictions in this asinine manner.

Absolutely great aid to self-discipline/self-denial when one finds one self visiting and revisiting website in semi compulsive disorder fashion. Take back the hours with this plug-in.

TOP 5 BEST Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Hey All this is a MUST HAVE in my opinion.

This Extension is Perfect for blocking Shock Sites , Or other sites that just waste your time, Personally i have a Few lists that i use to allow certain sites to be viewed only after a specified time of the day. Shock Sites = Never. Social Networking+Youtube, ETC = Only After 10 when ive finished my work for the day.

One Feature that i hope will be implamented is Live Link Removal. So if you have a link that looks like Google.com but really goes to something like Meatspin, the link will me removed and replaced with SHOCK SITE in red bold or something like that, this is the only feature that i feel holds back this extension.

But never the less this extension is Choice one of the best.

Cant wait to see more updates ! ! !
