Must-have add, save my time so many times! Kudos to the developers.

So Lazarus has become ransomware? Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Stuck with nothing but a "donate" item in it's menu for recovering data. Great move. How to really impress your users.

What is there to say? Lazarus just sits there ... until you need it. Then it's an absolute Godsend. I installed it after a crash cost me two hours of work. I didn't use it for three months then WHAM! A lost another two hours of work, and Lazarus recovered every word of it within 30 seconds. Absolutely brilliant :)

Utterly vital. Utterly incredible. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Really, what more can I say than: "Whoops firefox crashed right in the middle of filling out that massive form/typing that massive post/article....... Oh, phew, Lazarus saved it ALL, I don't have to spend hours retyping it!"

Vital Addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Saved me a lot of work, again. :)

Lazarus opens page with blank feilds, making it useless. Rated 1 out of 5 stars

When I used it to try to get back a form, all I got, was it reopened the page, with all fields empty. It appears that their contact form on their website is also as defunct as their product. I have since uninstalled this, and will not be adding it back.

Very good but needs site exclusion option, and right click icon Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I found this after losing hours worth of work, and it has hence saved me much retyping. But as it also seems to record passwords placed in secure site log in boxes then it needs to have an option to exclude that.

And also there should be a right click option to bring up the Lazarus search function, or under Tools.

Great add-on! I installed it after a friend recommended it, and had to use it today when FF crashed while I was finishing off a long form entry. Restarted FF, right-clicked in the form, and there was everything I'd entered, just like magic.

Great IDEA, but DOES NOT WORK Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Great IDEA, but DOES NOT WORK - at all (Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer). I tried all the fix suggested on the official website. Ziltch!

Work but no icon Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Working for a long time, but since there are no 'task bar' in FireFox, more hard to get the text.

1st solution : use contectual menu
2nd solution : use about:addon and manage lazarus

Surely other solution to put lazarus in another menu

Totally dead extesion in Firefox, even then new v3 on their website Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It doesn't recover my text entries at all, clicking the toolbar button does nothing, and opening the "Options" from the Add-ons page just displays a "chrome://lazarus/content/options.html" page that takes forever to load. It was a brilliant extension in Chrome, but had no choice but to ditch that intentionally-gimped-by-evil-google browser on my Surface Pro.

Thank God there's another ship to jump to; Form History Control. Adios Lazarus, thanks for being very helpful for the past 4 years during which I was using Chrome...on Firefox, you're dead useless.

One of the Very Best on Firefox Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a TERRIFIC app that I would never be without. Thanks! Now, where's the icon to make a Paypal donation for a couple bucks?

Fails on YouTube Rated 3 out of 5 stars

For Firefox 31. Tried to send them a contact message on their website about it failing on YT and it kept giving me an error message. Maybe time to try an alternative extension.

Dead extension Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Unfortunately, it looks like this great extension is dead. It hasn't been updated in a while and is slowly failing on each new version of FF. Thanks to @kimmaryelizabeth for mentioning From History Control as a replacement.

Lazarus, I used to like you, but now I hate you. I just wrote such a long comment on YouTube that I spent a lot of time ruminating over, and then my browser crashed. No worries, I thought, and went to retrieve the comment. Then I find out that Lazarus DOESN'T FRIKKIN' WORK inside the YouTube comment field. *rages quietly* Do you think you could maybe fix that?!

How I Show Lazarus 2.3 icon on Firefox top addon bar Rated 5 out of 5 stars

What worked for me was:
1. Show the bottom addon bar e.g. using Classic Theme Restorer addon
2. See installed Lazarus icon there (hopefully)
3. Select "Customize"
4. Drag the Lazarus icon to an appropriate place at the top.
5. Close "Customize". Done.

Lazarus has been replaced via an FF build ??? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I am using FF version 29.0.1 and just today realized that Lazarus was not available after my website admin auto logged me after taking too long to write some code for a page I was creating. When I hit the save button the browser page refreshed and redirected to the login page of my admin... I was devastated to find that the Lazarus button was missing from my FF toolbar... after searching the add-ons section to again find it missing I opted to instead back my browser up 3-4 pages and found that the code was saved (or at least available) simply by returning to the previous page (again, 3-4 pages back). So, now I am wondering if there is a reason the development stopped on Lazarus just knowing that this was becoming part of a future (now) build for FF and other browsers ??? Anyone know definitively if this is true or not?

I just tried it, and Lazarus 3 isn't working in 29, so until now we have to stick to this version. The lack of an icon is not a big loss.

clunky - auto name takes URL so hard to see Rated 1 out of 5 stars

very clunky - removing it. all saves of the form are to the same name as uses URL rather than time or first 10 characters of a field --- , so if you are saving the same form, you cannot tell the differences as it cuts off after so many characters, so they are all named the same.

1 star as does not respond to support email. why have it?

Great plug-in - great to know it's there, easy to use, always grateful to have it when for one reason or another an internet comment or other form entries have disappeared into the virtual ether.
Contrary to some comments below, I find Lazarus form recover still easily accessible, after update to Firefox 29, via a right-click menu whenever I'm hovering over a form. Might be better if alternative modes of access were developed or restored - though I don't recall ever using them in the past.
