The service and add-on themselves are fairly nice, with some occasional flaws where Firefox (with some help from Greasemonkey) is actually better at form detection. Unfortunately, LastPass are not, apparently, bothering to keep the AMO release up-to-date.

Half marks, rounding down.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.0).

Submitted update to AMO

FWIW, we submitted an update 2 weeks ago to AMO. We are still waiting for them to approve it.

Huge, ugly (UI-ugly), not exactly a speed demon (on a T9400, 4GB, Ubuntu Jaunty), not real clear on how it works or what it uses to encrypt data (NSS would be nice, since it's sort of *built in* to all Mozilla products), and form filling needs an awful lot of work.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.51.4).

We wish we could use the built-in mozilla encryption code, it's not open at this time, we've requested Mozilla open it, instead we use crypto++, which is the primary reason the binary is large (plus we have i386 + x86_64) -- you can run without binary speedup if you'd rather, it's available on our download page; it's done via Javascript in that case. You could delete the binary for the platform you don't want to use too if the size is that objectionable.
