Best Password Manager! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I am really impressed by this software. I installed using the lastpass.exe available on http://lastpass.com. It starts out by asking to import all of my passwords from IE and from Firefox. I didn't even remember I had accounts at some of these sites! And I was shocked how easily this found my passwords. Makes me wonder if any spyware has already stole them. LastPass gave me the option to delete the 'unsecure' passwords from my computer, which I did.
They are still in beta, but I thought it was pretty intuitive and it seemed to work on most sites that I had.
Lastpass also helps organize all of my accounts, which I really like. I can't stand going to a shopping site and not remembering if I have an account or not. With LastPass, all of my sites are organized and available whenever I need them (at work or home).
I tried a few of their options: sharing and favorites.
Sharing was neat. I set my wife up with her own account and shared my amazon login with her. It seemed like a safe, easy way to share an account. We are still experimenting with this, but it seems like an interesting idea.
I set a few sites as my favorites that I login every morning (email, facebook, etc). I now can login to all by hitting the open favorites button. Just saves me a little time.
One last thing (sorry for the long post!)...since the data is stored online, I can never lose this data. When my work computer crashed recently, I lost *everything*. Wish I had this then, it would have saved me lots of time.
