A minimalism English-English Dictionary. Move your mouse pointer over a word and hold CTRL key for a second to see its definition. Possibly, KitaDic is the least obtrusive dictionary extension ever made.
About this Add-on
HOW TO USE:
Move your mouse over any English word and press & hold CTRL key for a second. (No need to click or select a word before pressing CTRL key).
KitaDic will fetch the meaning of the word from Wiktionary.org , and display it in a Post-it-like window. Further, it provides links to the entries in en.Wikipedia.org, Google dictionary, Answers.com, Naver and Daum.
HOW TO TURN IT ON/OFF:
It provides ultra-easy on/off switch on the bottom-right corner of the Firefox window. Click the smiling face on the status bar once to turn KitaDic off. Click it again to turn it on.
This extension is initiated as a fork of Backword by Gneheix Il - and KitaDic follows the original license of Backwords - GPL or GPL2 license.
The Development Channel lets you test an experimental new version of this add-on before it's released to the general public. Once you install the development version, you will continue to get updates from this channel. To stop receiving development updates, reinstall the default version from the link above.
