Very useful tool for automatic printing from firefox browser Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've made html-based book generator. With thousands of pages. The problem was in PDF printing - it could not print whole book at once.

With this addon I've made automated printing to bunch of files with 200 pages each.

It worth a donation.

Absolutely superb! It would be awesome if there was a js-ctyeps module we can use in our own addons. Like for my screenshot addon I wanted to send an image to printer.

Blank page issue Rated 5 out of 5 stars

On some of the printers here we were getting blank pages. To fix I typed "about:config" into the Firefox location bar, and "print.print" into the filter box. Next I right clicked on the "print.printer_HP_LaserJet_P4014/P4015_PCL6.print_resolution" property (this is going to be different for different printers), and I selected "Reset". I hope this helps.

Printing blank page with Firefox 46 update and two printers Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I updated jsPrintSetup to the last version to solve the printing blank page bug. A classic A4 printer, it prints a blank page.

Any help please?

Great add-on, does exactly what I needed - generate PDF documents via Firefox 'print' facility for HTML pages. Very robust, runs flawlessly.

Very well written, 5 stars! This extension helped me figure out XPCOM much faster than the official tutorials. One observation though, you shouldn't use the Firefox GUID of ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384 for your component, change that to your own unique GUID.

BTW, you can easily get the page domain in jsPrintSetup.js with this command...
this.DOMAIN = this.getWindow().content.document.domain;
Then you just need some rules to compare it against (I just used a hard coded string comparison for my purpose).

domain-check Rated 4 out of 5 stars

CSS should offer the functionality that I would use this add-on for. But most browser don't support the specific css-commands for printing. The idea behind that decision is that the user should control printing settings and not the website. I can only agree to that. But for my own projects I would love the functionality this add-on offers. But I am not willing to pass control to my printer-settings to any webmaster around there. So I am thrilled to see that you are planning domain control. I am looking forward for the day that I can decide which domains may control my printersettings via this add-on. I have unloaded the add-on for now but will check back regularly to see any status-updates. Thanks for the great work.
