The thing seems to be dead for a while now… Sadly… I liked it.
(Rating is based on how alive it is.)
This extension does not work in 3.0.9.
It just produces an error dialog, and nothing runs.
after installation firebug is messed up! nothing works anymore. hope there will be a bugfix soon...
it doesn't work on my ff3.5.2!
I haven't gotten this thing to work yet because there is no documentation. So I agree with the previous comment about there being a lack of docs. Perhaps using this tool is really obvious for some, but I'm not figuring it out.
I could, howvever, view the jiffy tab in firebug while on the example page, and that looks excellent. So my review is based on that (minus 2 stars for the lack of docs).
Download does not work.
It's not intuitive enough to not have any "Get Started" documentation. I had to view the source of the example page to see how it worked. And the usage was not very straight forward in my opinion. Would have preferred to see the methods integrated into the Firebug console object.
Looks very promising, thanks!
I tried it on your demo page and it looks really promising:
Nice work. It would be great to see this take off!
THis is a very useful tool, I look forward to further integration into my sites.
This is a great add-on giving visibility to performance data for web sites that use the Jiffy open source instrumentation framework.
great add-on Bill
