Privacy policy for iorad - the tutorial builder

iorad is a secure & scalable knowledge platform that enables organizations to capture, share and learn app workflows in minutes without any technical knowledge.

Creators/authors capture the steps of a web workflow via the iorad firefox browser add-on. Start capture, perform the task, & click done. iorad does the rest.

Personal Data Minimization

The iorad app uses the minimum personal data necessary to deliver its services. The only personal data required for a Creator is an email address. Creators can optionally supply a “Public Name,” which can be generic (i.e. Company Name - Support) and optionally supply a profile image of their choosing.

Learners do not have to supply any personal data to access the tutorials unless the Creator restricts tutorial distribution to Private.

Tutorial View Permissions
Creators select a distribution setting for each tutorial:

-Public - Everyone can access and indexable by search engines.
-Unlisted - Everyone can access, but will not appear in Internet searches.
-Embed Only - Restricted to viewing only on domains specified by the Creator.
-Private - Invitation, only. Creators invite Learners through a verified email address (iorad sign in required).

Tutorial data (User generated data)
-User-generated data during capture: screenshots, text, and optional audio.
During capture all keystrokes (detected typing actions) in the recording frame are escaped using templates and encrypted. No keystrokes are logged during capture. -The masking tool in the editor gives the Creator the ability to blur out sensitive information from the screenshot.
-Step processing captures ID information of the captured screen component and the associated user interaction type (click, type, drag & drop etc)
-The URL where the tutorial is captured.

All data communications involving the application are encrypted.

To make iorad apparent to all websites and creators during the recording state:

(1) there is a mask and countdown timer before capture is started
(2) the iorad add-on icon blinks during capture
(3) the recorder adds a light grey box as the user hovers over different elements to indicate what will be captured.
