A humble request. Please add a function to allow the addon to work on only a whitelist of websites. I would like to use it only on Wikipedia. (And maybe only Google search and Amazon).
That would make it much more usable for many users, including me.
This is a great add-on.
However, for me what it really really needs is an option to only show the hover icons when a key is pressed. e.g. shift+mouseover shows the icons.
I had to turn off this new option because on one link in an application that I use often, hovering over the link acted as if I clicked on the link. When I turned off Hover Clue, that deviant behavior stopped.
This is a great add-on. I did discover it can interfere with downloads. It stops the download after a few kilobytes. Not all the time but about 1 in 3.. enough to be an annoyance.
I like Interclue, very useful extension. I like it mainly for identifying linked filetypes and expanding shortened links.
The beta Hoverclue feature breaks pdf downloads. I don't know if it breaks any other filetypes because I had to disable it. Hoverclue is not essential functionality, and it is labelled a beta feature. I'm mentioning the problem in this review to help anyone else avoid the lengthy troubleshooting I went through to identify the cause.
It doesn't quite work. The pages never load in the preview window and when you change the load time to 20 seconds and above (from 10) it just sits there spinning for 60 seconds. Also, the pin button is there inconsistently. It's usually not there, except for 1 out of 10 times. Maybe I'll try this again once it's improved.
The only thing that I like about this is that it uses less memory than cool previews (which I will unfortunately have to go back to, unless you have a better link preview suggestion), that surprises me though since lazarus form recovery uses so much memory that it crashes ff.
My one gripe about this product is that I can't move the Interclue toolbar item: I don't want it on the Add-on Bar at all, but I can't move it when I'm in Customize Toolbar mode.
thanks i liked it. it had all the features i need.
CoolPreviews is my preference. It offers a temporary bookmark stack and is easier to use and configure (because it has fewer features perhaps; InterClue's features aren't that useful for my purposes).
Both are good and both are MISSING A TEXT SEARCH FUNCTION WITHIN THE PREVIEW WINDOW!
It's early days yet, but so far I'm delighted with this software on FF 5.0.1 and Windows 7. I'm on a slowish satellite broadband connection and I think this could well be a timesaving alternative to opening new browser tabs.
Everything is faster now,and smooth.Have a go and few will be the times you'll like to disable it.
Interclue is a great add-on that have helped me and loads of firefox users to preview webpages REALLY FAST.
I think every one should have interclue enabled because it really make navigation faster and easier.
Try it out, you´ll like it.
This was one of my favorite add-ons and I find it so sad that it now doesn't work. I had the same experience as the previous reviewer, but all good things must come to an end. I cannot get it to work at all now. I hope the fix will come as an update very soon.
Strange, since it wasn't working correctly, I disabled it. Then it says to restart Firefox, but I didn't do this yet and Interclue seems to be working normal.
But if I restart Firefox, it will really disable it.
I have to be counted--this is my most valuable extension for FF. I never want to be without it. The complaints others write about are not important to me. It saves me so much time and effort. Yes, 5 stars!
Seth, Karl and Jim...
First and foremost, how and hopefully you all have come through the terrible earthquake OK, and are safe and sound. With so much damage in Christchurch, we pray for all there.
Lastly, we all pray also that Interclue that works with Firefox 4 Beta 12 or the soon FF4 RC can be effected, but we care more for you all being in good health first.
Please reply via Email and ALSO if possible, update the blog and the Firefox Add-On's page so we all know how you are doing.

Hi Joe, apologies for not replying earlier, it's all been a bit mad for the last few weeks. There is a now a Ffx4 version available, see my post at http://blog.interclue.com/2011/03/firefox-4-updates-and-our-far-too-interesting-times/ - best regards, Seth.
Appreciate what this tries to do, with the bare bones approach to max the speed. But it didn't work out for me very well. Too many sites (like Amazon reviewer's comments) where it just did not work at all. And too many times, I would just get a part preview, missing the info I needed. Tried submitting a bug report, no response or follow-up.
I will not surf without this add on.
Perfect tool: Places a tiny icon to the right of a hyperlink and displays a preview when you hover over it with no risk of launching it by accident. The preview popup is placed perfectly not hiding too much of the screen.
I very much like the warnings displayed when the link target looks like a risk, e.g. executing an action on access.
love this app it's a time saver
Sometimes the most basic ideas are the best ones. I found that it only slows down FF on computers that are old and slow anyways and still, the idea of being able to preview things first actually SAVES time and trouble and is well worth it! I put it in my "Apollo! Pack!" collection and I am recommending it!
A lot of thanks for such a useful Add-ons in Pale Moon Intnt Browser.
I always thought the jittery scrolling was some Firefox bug but after reading the reviews it's actually Interclue. I've decided to uninstall it as sometimes the scrolling gets really annoying. Also my internet has been slightly quicker now that I've installed it. It's a great idea and I really wish it but it needs to be quicker and the scroll easier to control.
