To those who can't read descriptions apparently: it says clearly that it opens a normal tab in a private WINDOW and then auto closes the normal tab with removing it from the history. Firefox quantum currently doesn't support private "tabs". That is why currently nobody can develope such add-on. The one-star ratings have nothing to do with the purpose of THIS add-on.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Bflat, 2 years agoGreat addon, I just had one small issue with it: when I had two tabs open in two different windows, switched one of these tabs to incognito and then switched it back to normal browsing, the addon put the tab I used it on in the window of the other tab I had open. This didn't happen when I used the addon in the new tab page though, but happened in all other instances, with google, wikipedia, etc.

Developer responseposted 3 years agoCtrl + Shift + P opens a *new tab* page in the incognito mode, while this extension opens the *current tab* in incognito mode. Hope this clears your doubt. Feel free to write at email@example.com for any further query.
