Please Be Patient Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Doesn't seem to do anything, it just hangs at "Please Be Patient" forever. If I manually enter the URL into the site it goes instantly. The authentication is also very kludgy, sometimes it will show that I am logged out and requests to sign in, I sign-in and I guess it accepts the sign-in; other times it shows a confirmation code and says to input the code into the page which opened the window, but the other page never shows anywhere to input a code. Sorry I've gotta give you one star for now, if these issues get fixed I'll update/redact my review. Environment: FF 7.0.1 on OSX 10.6.7

right click doesn't show UPLOAD option Rated 2 out of 5 stars

If I am viewing a .jpg file on my PC in FF, I only get the [selective]screenshot options... no option to upload. That seems to only work when .jpg is on the internet.

I am assuming its supposed to work like that. Limits usefulness bigtime.

New version... Icky. :( Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Here's my rant... :(
I used the older version of this and it worked fine no problems on my end. (I could upload files from my pc or the net and it'd show the list of files i uploaded in the tab. (anonymous upload) ...
I updated to the Newest version and it's totally changed... (shows you that you're logged out and can login if you want)-- I don't want to login to anything, just upload anonymous. (more stuff to slow an addon down... have it as an option, not forced to that screen.)
Missing the menu in the Tool pulldown AND the menu item to upload a file from your computer (Gone??)... I can't find it anywhere..
The function of not showing what you uploaded (anonymous) - Gone...
I don't want to have to signup for another image host just to view what i uploaded....
if that's the case, I'll just stick to Imageshack.
that's my 2 cents. I like the old version.

It is a handy tool to upload images, but I'm unhappy only about "Upload Selective Screenshot". I also use Google Extension Version. That can upload selective screenshot by more easier way than this.

Does Not Work With Animated Images Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I am very disappointed with this as uploading animated images does not work. I tried uploading an animated flag image but the result is just a still image. No animation at all. I am seriously considering removing this add-on altogether.

Works great, very helpful. Only issues are the clipboard thing doesnt work and it'd be nice if you could choose to have the new tabs open in the background. All in all, excellent add on!

Some Features Failed to Work Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I really love this extension as it provides the in browser service I wanted. Unfortunately, the right-click menu never provided me with the rehosting of an image and only allowed me to take a screenshot or selective screenshot. The upload from clipboard never works either.

What makes this unfortunate is there is a desktop application that allows me to use those 3 features already so the rehosting image was the only feature I really wanted.

Feature request and bug report Rated 3 out of 5 stars

+1 for automatic link copying feature. Also, to have a local dashboard / drag 'n drop upload place like the imgur chrome extension provides would be great.

Now a bug report: "Upload Selective Screenshot" doesn't work on Ubuntu. The notification bar shows up under address bar asking whether I want to upload or cancel but no selection box on the page is shown . Would appreciate a fix for this.

How not to update a plugin Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This is the only plugin I know, which is getting worse with every update. Since automatic link copying to clipboard was no longer available, and every upload ends with new website being loaded in the foreground makes this plugin unusable. What happens frequently is plugin not recognizing images on websites, so i cannot upload any images till i reload whole page. The only solution is to install old firefox and use old but fully working 0.3 version. I have uploaded houndreds of pictures with this plugin.
AUTOMATIC LINK COPYING TO CLIPBOARD IS A MUST.

Thanks for this feedback. I'll add automatic link copying to a future version. Could you please send me an example of a page where images are not recognized correctly?

Can I use this add on for Mozilla SeaMonkey? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

something good. but it lacks some important aspect
1/ can uploading be put in the background tab? at present, its uploading take the foreground to intercept normal web browsing.
2/ recover the function of coping original link (picture form ) into the clipboard?

Good, but previus version better. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

In the previous versions of imgur Firefox add-on when an image was uploaded the link of image was copied to the clipboard I have noticed that the new versions 1.0.1/1.0.2 it doesn't do that.

I believe that it was a very useful feature.
