i have a request
i remember old internet explore ability show box of no images with correct image dimension X Y, so we can read a page correctly. if the image is big, it will show a big white box, so it will not affect the structure of a page

Please add option menu in Tools -> Option Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Please add option menu for ILO in Tools -> Option. I don't like if I have to enable Add-on bar to access the ILO option.

It's very good. But You can change default behavior in ILO settings.

Compatibility Problem Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Recently I installed the latest version of Firefox 28.0, but it has disappointed me, because the ImgLikeOpera extension fails to work properly. Now it doesn't allow an individual image to be displayed by right-clicking the mouse (Load Image). Images are not shown even if Load All Images in ImgLikeOpera is selected. To make the things worse, no alert was displayed as to its compatibility with the latest version of Firefox when I installed it! So I've come to this conclusion only by trial and error while I had to rack my brain about the problem that occurred! This being unfortunately so, I have downgraded to version 25.0.1 (because it is the only previous version at hand -- luckily I haven't removed it). Now the ImgLikeOpera functionality has been restored! (The same thing seems to be with version 27.0(.1) as I have found out in ImgLikeOpera forums and discussions)

Not very useful Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Its not very useful for me. The settings is only working on a tab-basis. When i chose not to load images i want that this is the new setting now for the whole browser. Why should i want to disable images for a single tab only?
For example, when i use my smartphone for internet, i dont want to use all my MB on images.
The setting for new tabs is helpful but it could work better than that.

Loading Problem in Firefox 27.0.1 Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Images are not loading when I switch from one policy to another policy

For example: A web page is loaded with "Dont Load images" policy and if I want to change to "Load All Images Policy" then the images present on the page are not loading automatically. I have to press the refresh button to see the images.

Same is the problem with other policies.

This is a great addon without this problem. I am using this for years.

I would give a five star if the developer corrects this problem.

Images are loaded or not loaded depending of the settings which can be changed through preferences, button click or keyboard shortcut. However, it doesn't behave like Opera in that if you have load images as default setting, load the page and then change the setting to not load images, the images are still shown. The other way around it's the same, if you don't load images by default, load the page and then decide you want to see the images, you have to change the setting AND reload the page. If that would be changed, this extension would be great, but like this it's not what I expected.

Great, irreplaceable tool for everyday use. Wish Mozilla developers wouldn't break it so frequently.

I love the great features of this addon, but recently i found that it was the reason of firefox crashes, looks that it needs to be maintained to fix some bugs.

Still helpful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I use long time is still helpful. ABP blocks url image or and only in certain domain but with ILO you can stop loading images over certain tag.

Good

had some issues Rated 3 out of 5 stars

In recent months I noticed that in some pages selecting text has become slow and with a delay and also FF crashes on restarts. I tried many different solutions but after disabling add-ons one by one I finally (and unfortunately) found out that it was related to this great add-on. May be this was only for me or maybe there was an incompatibility between this and my other add-ons (e.g. Quickjava?). Anyway if anyone else had those mentioned symptoms, my suggestion is to try disabling this add-on.

Are vmb's updates inside? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Can anyone CONFIRM that vmb's fixes...
http://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/imglikeopera/reviews/268784/
... are also rolled into versions 21 and above, the official ones on the Version History page??

I (think) that he was the first to make ILO Fx4 compatible, but he also provided some fixes.
