- by Firefox user 5470385, 10 years agoRated 2 out of 5It seems a lot of people would like to move the button somewhere besides the navigation bar, myself included.
Auto reload please: it would also be helpful to have the option of automatically reloading the page once the button was triggered. - by Huusoku, 10 years agoRated 5 out of 5The Add-On works as advertised, so I gave it a 5-star, but I don't use the "Navigation Bar" (never had). I like small toolbars, so I use Add-Ons like Tiny Menu and Menu Editor to condense as much as possible. Can you please include the icon in the "Menu Bar" for users who don't use the "Navigation Bar" ? My "Navigation Bar" is completely blank (except for the Image Block icon) so it is pointless to display it. I tried dragging the Image Block icon to the "Menu Bar" but it won't move. Thanks for the Add-On, I just don't use the "Navigation Bar".
UPDATE: I just installed "Hide Navigation Bar" which allows shortcut key access to the "Navigation Bar". This way I can hide the useless bar when I'm not needing to block images with Image Block. - by Firefox user 5502757, 10 years agoRated 5 out of 5Excellent add-on, thank you for releasing it.
It would be GREAT if the toggle functionality was available from the context menu, for those of us who use full-screen a lot. - by Text, 10 years agoRated 4 out of 5It works but unfortunately, what I really wanted was to block images ONLY from specific web pages instead of blocking images on every page on the internet.
So, if you add the option to block images only from specific web pages, then I'll come back and reinstall it. - by Boloxxxi, 10 years agoRated 1 out of 5Issues: 1. Will not toggle sometimes. 2. Removes images from pages without your say-so. I was happy to be rid of it.

thank u for ur contribution.because i use firefox in office, my boss would blame me when the colorful images catch his attention. in the past i have to disable the image in options by several steps, but now it would been done in one click, very convenient! - by 萧 遥, 10 years agoRated 5 out of 5非常感谢你的贡献。我在办公室上网,鲜艳的图片容易被老板发现。以前我总是在选项里把图片禁用,现在可以一键搞定,非常方便!

Plugin does nothing here.

posted 10 years agoThanks for sending the bug, this been fixed in the new version. - by Mazen, 11 years agoRated 4 out of 5Nice add-on. Emailed writer about a problem that exists but it's still there so I thought I would include it in my review.
When I have images toggled off, I get the 'blocked' logo. When I restart FF, the logo appears as it images aren't blocked. SO it needs to be updated so that it remembers which state it's in and so, when it restarts, it displays the right image.
Other than that, excellent.

posted 10 years agoThanks for the support, the bug has been fixed in the new version. Please update, try and dont forget to send us your comments. Thanks again! - by earther designs, 11 years agoRated 3 out of 5I also can't use this extension because I have the Navigation Toolbar disabled. Not worth the trouble of having to toggle it on and off all the time.

posted 10 years agoThe button is now movable, you can place it anywhere you want on toolbars. I invite you to try the new version and please do send us your comments on the same. - by Laura Hammons, 11 years agoRated 5 out of 5To the creator : my only want for this tool, is that it can be movable from the Navigation Toolbar. Normally I cram all my buttons onto one toolbar, and unfortunately Image Block is the only button that I can not move. It's a little cumbersome to open the Navigation Toolbar every time I want to toggle Image Block. Otherwise, great work!
I have not had any issues with images being permanently disabled. Toggle off Image Block and refresh the page and, I haven't had any problems, all images instantly reload. - by Paul McCarthy, 11 years agoRated 1 out of 5I agree with david. This extension is irreversible. One of the "images" that get blocked are those log-in features where you have to type displayed text. Unless someone comes up with a fix for this, I cannot recommend this extension to anyone.

posted 10 years agoThis was probably due to the fact that the button was on the navigation toolbar, in the new version you can place it where ever you want. Please try the new version and do send us your comments. Thanks!- by vyr, 11 years agoRated 1 out of 5not working, no "toggle button" , nothing, only shows in the list of plugins.
- by Justin , 11 years agoRated 5 out of 5Works great, saves me a lot of time and hassle checking alt text for HTML emails! Speeds up browsing too.
- by david , 11 years agoRated 1 out of 5Caution: I could not display any images after install and uninstalling this tool.
once images were blocked that was the end of them, disable function changed nothing.
had to uninstall and reinstall browser and download all addons again to get images back quickly.
There Probably was another fix, but not an easy to find or fast one. - by 4563246, 11 years agoRated 2 out of 5This addon doesn't work properly with google search. Google has recently started adding images to their search
results (not google images search, normal google search).
These images are scripted so they don't get suppressed by
just unchecking "load images automatically" in firefox options.
I would assume doing what I want here is exactly what your
addon should do, but it doesn't work and the images are still
displayed. I can stop by by disabling scripting, but that's not
what I want; I just want to block the images.
