It doesn't block downloading of images Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It doesn't block downloading. Only hides the images. Absolutely worthless.

Needs work Rated 3 out of 5 stars

- Blocks all external images, including those affected by Firefox bug 1196784.
- Hides embedded images. They never appear, not even momentarily.
- Blocks Adobe Flash.
- Remembers on/off state between browser sessions.

- Cannot show images in one tab while completely hiding all images in other tabs. When images are enabled, all images in the current tab are loaded and displayed. Embedded images and cached images in all other tabs are displayed (bad). External images in other tabs are not loaded (good).
- Bug with multiple windows. In window 1, choose Images off. In window 2, choose Images on. Switch to window 1. Right click menu shows "Images off," but images are on.
- No toolbar button. User must activate popup menu to view current image state.
- Adware. Advertising links in popup menu make add-on less elegant. User should have choice to disable ads and support developer with donation.

Works as stated. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I would like a button option. I would like to be able to by menu go and individually turn on each image when all are off, or not. or turn them off individually too, i guess.

In Win 10 running Firefox 43.0.1, Hotmail is crippled with this add-on enabled Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Until I discovered this otherwise helpful add on was the culprit, I recently started discovering Hotmail's toolbar remained blank, e-mails couldn't be opened and even the logout button wouldn't work. Disabled all add ons, then started enabling one by one. Now, I'm without Image and Flash Blocker because I need Hotmail. BTW, disabling Image and Flash Blocker once logged into Hotmail doesn't make Hotmail work. I had to disable the add on, close and then restart FF. I hope this problem can be fixed.

Please write an update Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Could you please write an update which allows you to use multi-tabs and see images on one page without seeing them on another? Thanks for this helpful add on, but please understand that the fact that it works on every page at once decreases its benefit.

hello again. now I'm so happy to have this great add-on but in my opinion, if you add 2 extra options under the existing pop-up menu options, you will make us very happy. if you would like you can add these under the pop-up menu: (Add to White list) (White List Management) ... the 1st option adds the active url to its white list. using the 2nd option, users can both see which URL(s) added to the white list and delete them. actually that was just an opinion... i said because i like this add-on and also i'm a programmer but not in firefox :)

This user has a previous review of this add-on.

Very handy and easy to use, this was exactly what I needed to avoid unwanted ads. Thanks!

Great concept with flaws Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This is a great idea and works very well. The little things count though, and that's whats lacking here. I don't browse one website at a time, it's rare that I browse less than 5 at a time, and I don't want images/flash off on every one.

If this add-on had multi-tab capability it would be close to perfect for what I use it for. For now all I can do is turn image/flash of browser-wide, which can be a tad frustrating.

But as I said, it's still a great concept and does what it says with no bells and whistles. Images/flash are indeed turned off when that option is chosen.

Does the job well Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Does not do S#1T Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Adds, flash, and images still all over.
NOT A SINGLE option anywhere to do diddly squat.
Not a instruction, and wondering if this does anything other then waste time downloading and pretend to do something....

There are instructions to rightclick... nope nothing there... so.... Developer lied. Or wrote for Unbuntu or some random OS maybe? or MAC only? Or Windows 3.1? Definitely NOT the current windows flavors or firefox.

Not working in FF4+ - even restored the bottom bar to see if the icon was hiding but it wasn't. When it was working I'd give it a 5 star rating but as of now... 0.

Unsatisfactory.. Needless Ads.. content blocking does not work on all web-pages... I'd recommend an alternative add-on.

it doesn't block single images and/or flash elements on a page

Initially, I thought this add-on was great. Exactly what was needed for a slow internet connection. BUT... it then added links in the context menu inviting me to take a "free virus scan" or to try a "free on-line translation service"

I notice that the screen-shot now includes these advertisements, so it is not a "deceptive practice", however there are other, (arguably more versatile,) add-ons that do the same thing and much more, (such as additionally block Java and Java Script) with convenient tool bar buttons that indicate current status.

So if you feel you need this functionality, my advice is to keep looking
