Such a brilliant idea to put IE in Firefox
agregó la extensión discount dragon y una variedad de otros adwares.
Although it's a fairly stable plugin, when tabs are opened within Firefox, "save passwords" do not work. This applies if the passwords for that site are saved normally within IE or Firefox! Thus forcing me to manually open the site in question within IE, in order to use the Save Password feature.
Just a heads up to users of this plugin (which works amazing btw) - if you install "Add to Search Bar 2.2", it will cause this plugin to break, only showing "A plugin is needed to display this content" any time you try to use it. All you need to do to fix this is to disable the above mentioned addon and this one will return to working properly. Also, if the trick of disabling this plugin, restarting the browser, enabling this plugin and restarting the browser again *still* leaves you with the error message "A plugin is needed to display this content" every time you try and use it - please go through and disable your other extensions one by one, restarting the browser after each - and then try this addon again. You will eventually find another addon you have that is breaking this one. This addon rocks and the current issues are the fault of other addons breaking this one.
As reported by others, doesn't work. Tells me that I do not have the required plugin!? - My browser contains all that is necessary to run this add-on (& it's all active). The problem is with the add-on. Sorry.
Two things are a bit annoying:
1) In the tab IE is just called an "ext.app."
2) If you switch to IE, the side should close in FF.. Why is there no option?
Win7 x64, does not work. "A plugin is needed to display this content" message is all I get. User-suggested solution to disable/enable produced no result.
I use this a lot with HP iLO on our servers as they will only work with IE. But I have a question about using RegEx expressions to scope a number of IPs so where do I ask this question???
Flash works in IE on my work PC but in Firefox. I can't update flash without admin rights. This solved that problem. It is a bit slow.
Does not allow opening MHT files.
After removal Add-on files normally open.
Does not allow to enter passwords on https sites from clipboard.
Блокирует открытие MHT файлов.
После удаления файлы открываются нормально.
Не позволяет вводить пароли на https сайтах из буфера обмена.
Muy agradable el complemento.
Seems to be a bit slow...
I love this plugin...and already feeling handicapped since i upgraded to 4 Beta...
it always show me a blank page with missing plugin on every page.. even when I just open something like Google.
What did I miss?
it didn't work now with FF17.0.1 ...
Every time I want to use it to go to my professional secure webmail, it freeze all FF ... sometimes, want you wait a few moment, FF are useable BUT in general, I must to kill the processus plugin-container.exe to come back on a "normal" use without IE Tab !
Could you, please, make something about that problem ?
Thx and have a nice 2013 all year !
We have a new release 4.0. It's already submitted to AMO and is currently under review. It should support the latest firefox and fix the crashes. Thank you.
I'm removing this.
The screen freezes every time I use it and I end up having to force FF to shut down and restart to get rid of the tab.
I love this plugin...and already feeling handicapped since i upgraded to 4 Beta...any plans of upgrading this?
Just tried this and it freezes Firefox every time. Uninstalling now.
Excellent plugin. Among all IE Tab variations, it's clear this one is the original. It's the least crashy and the fastest pages loader. However, after you update Firefox you will get a missing plugin error. It happened for me when updated Firefox from 14.0.1 to 15.0 with Windows XP Service Pack 3. I fixed this by simply disabling IE Tab, restarted Firefox, enabled it again and restarted again. We are waiting for a real fix.
"Missing plugin" error prevents use. Updating or backdating IE to any version doesn't fix the error, though I doubted it would as you continually say IE doesn't matter for the plugin.
Crashes almost everytime I use it. Mostly when I try to close the tab.
Forces me to shutdown Firefox entirely. Don't know what's wrong but if this keeps on going, it might be better not to use this
