After than install the plugin, I can not save bookmarks.
On my laptop I use 125% or 150% zoom in display setting. When I run IE standalone it scales right. But IE inside Firefox uses 100% always (and then is very small). Why doesn't it use the system zoom setting inside FF?
Looks like F5 and the refresh arrow button next to the URL bar have been disabled. I cannot refresh the page!
When I disable IE tab, the F5 functionality comes back. This is clearly a bug in the latest Version.
When trying to use, a gray page will display that a plugin is needed to display the page. A page very similar to the "Flash Player" needs updating page.
But just what plugin is needed? It gives you no hints as to what is needed.
Wonder if the x64 version of FFx v45.0.1 has anything to do with it? Hasn't affected any of the other add-ons I've tried to install.
Used to be a great add-on, but it's no longer supported (version number suggests it was last updated nearly 3 years ago) and now installing it breaks bookmarking (you simply can't) and Tab Mix Plus (the Options pop-up becomes absolutely useless). Guess I'll be looking at other add-ons... or simply leaving it disabled except for the rare times I actually need to open something in IE.
'Page Refresh' stops working when this Add-On is enabled.
Other 'IE Tab' offerings don't have this problem - Such as 'IE Tab V2 (Enhanced IE Tab)'
This add-on used to be good, it's a shame it's no longer updated; broke my reload/stop/go button on Firefox 45.
With updated FF, 40 and above, this addon will conflict with bookmarking any websites, by any means. Started a support ticket with XMarks and they recommended the Mozilla procedure of isolating the extensions one by one. This is the culprit.
Have found IE Tab to be a useful tool at times, but not enough to sacrifice the ability to bookmark. Hopefully an update to fix this is in the works...
couldnt use, resolved by after deleted this add-on
Cuando se usa para ver una página con Iexplorer sale un aviso que dice "Se necesita un plugin para ver este contenido"
On my FF itt blocked adding to bookmark, via menu or CTRL+D didn't work, it works after removing or disabling.
Looks great but I have an issue with file:// links, which work fine but if you try to use them with the Site Filter feature, it inserts a chrome:///.... prefix and fails. The support link goes to a dead site. Now I find there is actually a newer version at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/ie-tab-2-ff-36/?src=search - SO WHY IS THIS OUT-OF-DATE INFO HERE??!!!
Always showing message "This plugin is disabled" when switching to IE.
Same issue for "Ctrol + D" IE TAB 4.0.20130422.1-signed
Bookmarks can not save it and put the IE Tab 4.0.20130422.1
As others have mentioned, this add-on is causing an error that effectively disables Ctrl+D and the bookmark button on the toolbar.
Safe mode reboot indicated it was an issue with add-ons. Disabled one by one and rebooted each time and quickly discovered IE tab was the culprit.
Forgot I even had this add-on. Not worth even half the trouble it just caused. Disabled.
I can confirm that this add-on disables the bookmark creation in FF40.
Something about the update for Firefox 40 made this plugin cause me to no longer be able to bookmark pages. It's utterly bizarre, but after disabling all thirty-something plugins and re-enabling them one at a time, this is the one that has to be disabled to allow Ctrl-D or clicking the star to bookmark a page. I hate that I have to put a star rating, because this is a recent change, but I haven't had much use of it before the update, so I'm going with three arbitrarily.
Is not working with version 33.0
对于我这种只需要切换为 IE,然后复制gif 到QQ聊天框的人来说已经足够了.
This addon is not compatible with the "Hola Better Internet" addon. When Hola is installed and activated, you get a "this needs a plugin" error message when switching to the MSIE rendering engine. Other than that: works ok.
Dunno what you've been smoking, but this addon provides a Windows INTERNET explorer engine inside Firefox. This does not have anything to do with Windows Explorer (the file manager of Windows).
Accidentally hitting the IETAB button sends U into the buggy slow-as-molasses crippleware bull$hit land of MicroFlop IE, so Y bother? It's IE, but without even the basic functionality of configuring it, so may as well just open a separate window 2 keep the krapware Micro$ux product isolated, quarantined, as it should B, from your real browsing tasks =)
cool addon but it has a bug !
I could find active contact to author so i write here !
When you click on this link in a ff render nothing will happen, when you switch to ie reneder page then you see error message if you then switch to ff render again - b00m ; this bug could potentially lead to XCS privilege escalation - sorry for my english :)
