Promising but now superseded? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Looks great but I have an issue with file:// links, which work fine but if you try to use them with the Site Filter feature, it inserts a chrome:///.... prefix and fails. The support link goes to a dead site. Now I find there is actually a newer version at - SO WHY IS THIS OUT-OF-DATE INFO HERE??!!!

Disable to restore Ctrl+D Rated 1 out of 5 stars

As others have mentioned, this add-on is causing an error that effectively disables Ctrl+D and the bookmark button on the toolbar.

Safe mode reboot indicated it was an issue with add-ons. Disabled one by one and rebooted each time and quickly discovered IE tab was the culprit.

Forgot I even had this add-on. Not worth even half the trouble it just caused. Disabled.

I can confirm that this add-on disables the bookmark creation in FF40.

FF40 incompatibility Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Something about the update for Firefox 40 made this plugin cause me to no longer be able to bookmark pages. It's utterly bizarre, but after disabling all thirty-something plugins and re-enabling them one at a time, this is the one that has to be disabled to allow Ctrl-D or clicking the star to bookmark a page. I hate that I have to put a star rating, because this is a recent change, but I haven't had much use of it before the update, so I'm going with three arbitrarily.

对于我这种只需要切换为 IE,然后复制gif 到QQ聊天框的人来说已经足够了.

Not compatible with "Hola" addon, otherwise ok. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This addon is not compatible with the "Hola Better Internet" addon. When Hola is installed and activated, you get a "this needs a plugin" error message when switching to the MSIE rendering engine. Other than that: works ok.

Dunno what you've been smoking, but this addon provides a Windows INTERNET explorer engine inside Firefox. This does not have anything to do with Windows Explorer (the file manager of Windows).

Accidentally hitting the IETAB button sends U into the buggy slow-as-molasses crippleware bull$hit land of MicroFlop IE, so Y bother? It's IE, but without even the basic functionality of configuring it, so may as well just open a separate window 2 keep the krapware Micro$ux product isolated, quarantined, as it should B, from your real browsing tasks =)

This user has a previous review of this add-on.

I could find active contact to author so i write here !

<a href="chrome://ietab/content/ietab.xul?#fIle://C:/" target="_blank" onclick="/*ifff fak*/">clickme</a>

When you click on this link in a ff render nothing will happen, when you switch to ie reneder page then you see error message if you then switch to ff render again - b00m ; this bug could potentially lead to XCS privilege escalation - sorry for my english :)

I had all my tabs on the bottom (i hate the side) using Super Tab Mode, until today's FF29 which means i can either have a inch wide slice gone at the top, stoop more and hurt my back worse, or i can - not see my tabs! As i usually have 50+ open, small problem. Installed this today, and working perfectly! So, opposite experience to the previous guy, thanks. Perfect.

Although it's a fairly stable plugin, when tabs are opened within Firefox, "save passwords" do not work. This applies if the passwords for that site are saved normally within IE or Firefox! Thus forcing me to manually open the site in question within IE, in order to use the Save Password feature.

WORKS GREAT - WITHOUT "Add to Search Bar 2.2" Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Just a heads up to users of this plugin (which works amazing btw) - if you install "Add to Search Bar 2.2", it will cause this plugin to break, only showing "A plugin is needed to display this content" any time you try to use it. All you need to do to fix this is to disable the above mentioned addon and this one will return to working properly. Also, if the trick of disabling this plugin, restarting the browser, enabling this plugin and restarting the browser again *still* leaves you with the error message "A plugin is needed to display this content" every time you try and use it - please go through and disable your other extensions one by one, restarting the browser after each - and then try this addon again. You will eventually find another addon you have that is breaking this one. This addon rocks and the current issues are the fault of other addons breaking this one.
