Great addon but has not worked on Firefox 21 on Win 8 for me. I installed and uninstalled and it worked for a day or so and the icon disapperared on the menu
Great tool!!!!one downside is that it inserts the browser you used which you can delete. I use it all the time and it works great! Searched for alternative and found nothing that compares.
Great addon, but unfortunately you can't resize the window. So it's harder to use when having a larger font set.
This add-on is added to my FF but it only appears when it feels like it. I have no idea what is going on and it's been made more complicated. I hate these updates that have no real testing on how it's going to perform. I love Hootsuite...when it works which is almost never
This addon inserts the browser name "Mozilla Firefox" into the text - why? I cannot get rid of this so will probably uninstall. Too bad.
Hootlet is a pile of fail... why did HootSuite acquire TwitterBar and rename it HootBar if it was just going to kill it?! #FAIL!
It is really annoying that every time the Hootlet is used it adds "Mozilla Firefox" in the tweet text. I searched in vain for a way to turn this off. This does not happen with the Hootlet in Chrome. Other than that really, really, really annoying thing, the Hootlet works great.
Worked great till today; stopped copying urls and doesn't show the "send"- button (needs a klick on the "shedule", "attach image.." or another button) ... Shows just the initials in the message fields..
Edit (07.09.2012): HootSuite is investigating the problems (follow them on Twitter: @HootSuite_Help)
Edit (08.09.2012): Problem is solved. The best app ever works ;)
Unfortunetly the Hootlet now has display issues and you can't see the complete data entry fields
Invaluable! I use Hootlet to quickly put a tweet together and schedule it. This add-on has saved me an enormous amount of time.
WARNING SPYWARE !!!!

Please, vote for the idea/suggestion to Fix this add-on so it doesn't post the " - Mozilla Firefox" from the page title http://goo.gl/s0ZgX
About the problem I posted before (when I click to share on Facebook the content height expands, but the window has no scrollbars), here is a screenshot. Number 1 is the original layout, and number 2 with my css hacks.
Broken! FF6, Mac
Must have been a problem with my FF6 - it's fine with FF7 now.
Can you provide some more detail please. Also screenshots really help us track down the problem.
Excellent add-on, but to say that it "saves time" is highly debatable. It is unbearably slow and takes forever to open...
Simple and easy to use. Not AS much of a use for it anymore with Twitter incorporating its own URL shortener, but I'm a longtime Hootsuite fan and I still think there's no better twitter app for managing multiple accounts for free.
Thanks for your feedback Erik.
Since I upgraded to Firefox4 I cannot use Hootesuite anymore.
I have installed the add-on again, but that didn't change anything.
What can I do best?
I take it we should now use the HootBar instead? Why are you keeping this add-on around?
By the way, "Select All" button does not help to leave checkmarks.
... you're using Firefox 4, in which case it does not work (for me, at least). Worked great with Firefox 3.x.
The add-on has recently been updated to support Firefox 4. Please let us know if you are still experiencing any issues.
Simple, easy-to-use add-on. Goes without saying that you should be a Hootsuite user before this is any benefit to you, but I'd highly recommend Hootsuite to anyone with multiple twitter accounts. It doesn't have the greatest layout in the world--nothing compares to the original Twitter UI--but its functionality is unparalleled.
Saves me visiting the hootsuite website. It just adds a simple icon to the navbar, and you can drag it onto the Google Toolbar instead if you wish.
Add-on needs to be updated so that it doesn't grab "Mozilla Firefox" from the title bar for every tweet sent through Hootlet. I end up manually deleting it every time.
I installed this add-on and it is not working as described. I click on the Hootlet icon in the toolbar and it opens another window asking me to sign in to HootSuite. When I sign in, I get some obscured message before going to my HootSuite page. Then it does not owly shorten the link but rather places a full http link in the comment box. It also does not grab any text from the page I am trying to "Hoot" about. I am not happy that it opens a completely new window. Anyone else experiencing this? Is there some kind of setting that I am supposed to adjust? If this is a problem, I sure hope they fix this issue immediately because this would be a great add-on if it worked properly.
