by Firefox user 13497118, 5 years agoThis add-on has changed a lot in the last few years. I was one of it's early adopters before any of the Honey Gold. Unfortunatly, it doesn't seem to work as well as it used to which is a shame and rather odd because you would think with a bigger community, they would get far more promo codes. However, I reinstalled Honey two weeks ago after a gap of about 2 years and each time I have needed it to find me a promo code it hasn't been able to which is disappointing because each time I managed to find discounts on my own. I reviewing Honey now because I have just used it again. This time I had already added my own promo code but I decided to give Honey a whirl to see if it could improve on my discount. I didn't think it could and I was right, it couldn't but the cheeky little add-on claimed my promo code as it's own telling me it had found me a £3.75 discount when it hadn't. Bit dishonest I thought. Hence the 3 stars given.
Anyway, Honey is still worth having inside Firefox but I choose to disable it and only reenable it when I need it.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18352178, 19 days agoI've used Honey for years and something's changed. I've tried 10 times over the last 5 months to redeem my points for gift cards, which never arrive. I've contacted Honey at least 5 times via chat, email and Twitter. No response or help. Chatbot crashes and freezes every time. Total scam company.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12524297, a month agoNot a single site I've gone to has had Honey do anything. It is a waste of space and wouldn't be surprised if it is just farming your data.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Freezekit, 3 months agoThere's literally no downside to downloading Honey. When it works, it works! It doesn't always find a coupon (Which happens, not all stores offer coupons), but when it does it just passively saves you money. I *just* used a coupon on a website and then Honey found a better one that saved me an extra $15 than the coupon I had.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Kc, 3 months agoHoney used to be a crucial part of my shopping experience. The offers for Canada have become less and less. What even is the point? I'm not going to shop at Ardenes. Get your shit together.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Nurie, 4 months agoIt does tend to slow down my browser at times, so I have no choice but to remove the extension whenever that happens. It is, however, quite good as a drop list notification app for my Amazon purchases. I am rating it kind of low as I don't get to use it for its intended purpose, which is for coupons and rewards, as most of the stores I'm interested in are not a part of the program. When it is, most of the coupons don't even work. I am not sure if I'm just THAT unlucky or what.
