I have added 184.108.40.206 and added Firefox5 support. Soon, a 220.127.116.11 will be released (pending review) which makes the code much cleaner and keeps other addons from breaking HB (and vise-versa).
Passwords... this comes up a lot. The problem with passwords is that I simply do not know enough about the interface or what Mozilla makes available through it to actually try and store them (or ignore deleting them). On the one hand, if you removed all traces of having visited example.com, but someone went onto your computer and went to example.com and saw that the un/pw fields in the login were already filled in... it would seem that the game was lost. On the other hand, if the only thing HB is being used for is keeping those entries out of the history/closed tabs listings, then you might LIKE the fact that your UN/PW are stored for example.com and show up when you try to log in.
I will look into the passwords api to see what I can find, but no promises on this one until I have more specifics.
Sorry about HB not working after the update. Likely, you are going from 1.x to 2.0.0, right? The way that addons store data has changed significantly since the legacy version, and as such upgrading does cause the blacklist to get forgotten. It CAN be recovered if you follow the instructions from https://github.com/kainsavage/HistoryBlock/tree/v2.1.0#migrating-legacy-blacklist
Please let me know if I am misunderstanding and file a bug report with as much detail as possible on Github.
Excellent add-on, but really need to turn off or drop the "block this" button... I mean, I close the tab, someone comes in, we start using the computer and he/she sees the block this button and ask what is it... kinda "raises some flags" I think.
I'm really missing some options window, where I can see / manage all blocked domains. Maybe there could also be an option to show / hide the "Block this!" entry. If needed, the list could be protected by password, so not everyone can see or change.
