About this extension

The purpose of this add-on is to hide all metrics on YouTube. Hiding these numbers can help reduce anxiety and other negative moods from the user's browsing experience.

The numbers blocked throughout the entire website include the following:
Subscriber count when subscribed
Subscriber count when not subscribed
Views
Number of comments
Number of replies
Number of likes and dislikes on videos
Number of likes on comments

This add-on was inspired by Ben Grosser's add-ons Twitter Demetricator and Instagram Demetricator which have a similar function for those websites. I couldn't find an add-on with this function for YouTube, so I decided to make my own.

Sadly this add-on does not on mobile anymore for now because Mozilla decided it wasn't safe to use after it being live for 3 months. 🤷‍♀️
