Thanks Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It works. It removes the tab bar when there's only one tab and reverses a really boneheaded decision by the Firefox team.

Thanks again.

If the Mozilla team is trying to find a way to force me back to Internet Exploder, they are doing a fine job.

The reason I stopped using Internet Exploder is due to the idiotic user interface. It looks like the Mozilla team wants to get into the same boat with Internet Exploder.

It is a shame, really.

Why is Mozilla working so strongly against users' interests? This addon works fine but wouldn't be necessary if Mozilla did think twice before killing useful options..

It works, but... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

... why do we need an add-on for this????

Dear Mozilla developers, please accept that your userbase is split into those who like tabs and those who hate them. If hiding a tab bar with only one tab is a challenge, take it on instead of insisting to waste 10% of your users' real estate for no useful purpose.

Replaces functionality needlessly removed by Mozilla Developers. Well done!

Bad Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I've tried this extension due to recent Firefox 23 changes. In my case it was useless as I'm using tab bar with menu bar disabled and installing this addon moves tab bar below address line.

Manually setting browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar in about:config to 'true' leads to visual issues - menu button overlapped with other elements etc.

Mozilla did a very controversial move removing the "Always show tab bar" option from settings. :(

First of all, thanks for this addon. It's great.

Second of all, I just wanted to add that I'm getting real tired of Mozilla's $h!t when they decide to remove options and reducing our ability to customize the browser. First they removed the checkbox, and now with Firefox 23.0 the option to hide tab bar doesn't work even from about:config

Why they trying so hard to be like Chrome? If I wanted to use Chrome I'd go download it.

So again, thanks for the add-on. Much appreciated.

Thank you Chris! This add-on restores a function that I use all the time. Good!

Shame on Mozilla for reducing the customization that WAS a founding principle of Firefox!

Attention Firefox -- if we wanted to lose all customizability, we would have switched to Chrome.

So thank you, Chris, for making this extension to restore choice and sensible functionality.

Does what it says Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Rather unfortunate now that I have to install plugins to restore perfectly good functionality that gets removed for no apparent reason. All the browsers are all racing to have the least features. If I actually wanted that, I'd use Chrome.

Back to the way it should be! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Why on earth Mozilla keep removing functions is beyond me. They seem intent on giving us less choice on how we use our browser with each new update. I'm on the verge of switching altogether as I'm tired of being railroaded into using Firefox the way they want me to.

Thank you for this add-on!

Very useful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very useful addon, for when Mozilla devs screw up yet another feature that we've gotten used to and that made sense. (Vertical screen space is rather important...)

I've got 11 addons to restore features that I liked that they took away with no option to restore. I don't know of any other company that likes to mess up things so much, except maybe Microsoft when they removed the Start button from Windows entirely.

Very much needed addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm on the verge of switching to another browser. The developers have their head in their crack. I do not need to see tabs if I do not have any open. thankfully we have this addon. First they remove the option to disable tabs always open in the menus and now this.

Maybe a dev can create an addon to keep its users from switching to another browser, I may need it soon....

Thanks; back to normal! The decision to remove the extremely useful autohide feature is at best unlucky; communication about it with the user-base has apparently failed. This add-on restores the expected functionality, i.e. the program not wasting screenspace while no tabs are in use.

Cure for stupid developers Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The sheer idiocy of Mozilla developers for removing this feature in FF23 rather than fix their half-baked, half-working ,copycat, hideous, stupid-google-wannabe, australis theme absolutely astounds me. Thank god someone out there made this add-on, though it will be interesting to see if it's still working in FF25 when australis rolls out.

Thanks for undoing the damage done by the Mozilla Dev. Browser-rapists! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Tabbed browsing is for imbecils! (maybe needed for "browser applications" (don't use them) or maybe for people with tiny low res screens..., or don't understand the power of the Back Button, "Clone Window" and Bookmarks, or have serious ADD multi-tasking issues).

For turning FireChrome 23.0 back into Firefox with this addon. Many will soon be in for a shock at the loss of browser customizability when the full Australis hits the fan!

Thank god for this extension Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm using Cyberfox 23 & I think Mozilla is totally off their head by getting rid of a important feature which should be on every browser, All I can say is thank goodness I found this extension I really hated viewing on single tab when I didn't need to.

Doesn't restore native functionality. Rated 2 out of 5 stars

The hiding/unhiding of the last tab is noticeably less smooth than when it was a native option, and also leaves a 1px row of extra padding.
