Tabs are useless to me, and I want that screen real estate back. It's ironic this is considered simplification. Please, Mozilla, quit adding things if you want simplicity.

Final Straw Rated 5 out of 5 stars

No tabs please Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Why after allowing the user to remove tabs from their environment over the last few versions would anyone think they should force us to see them with V23.0.1 I don't use tabs, I feel they clutter the available screen space I have and find them a nuisance. maybe some like them, I prefer to open new windows. This is something Microsoft would do think they know what's good for their users. I see no reason another add-on must be used to do what I had always been able to do. If FF starts down this road other browsers will be getting new users.

Restores removed feature Rated 5 out of 5 stars

For the sake of minimalism Mozilla devs are forcing us to install an extension to not lose something we had clicking over a checkbox. So, this is minimalism?

They say "some people may use this feature" and "a few people will be affected" trying to minimize the importance of that now gone feature:

"A few people will be affected". 4000+ have started using this extension in the past 7 days. Seems like a lot of people used that option.

Brilliant Idea - why not add it to the browser? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is brilliant. Why would we want to see tabs when there are no tabs to see? This functionality should be made a basic feature of the browser ASAP! Then the browser would be as good as it used to be!

I know some people seem to think function should give way to form, and people should put up without this because they couldn't work out how to make a super-dooper new theme look good with it, but who needs themes that get in the way of good design? Form follows function, never the other way round. The end must lead the means. This add on does that, but why have to add an add-on for something so basic as a proper functioning browser. Come on, Mozilla, meet the challenge. Make it just work without fiddly add-ons.

They screwed FF23 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

in FF23 the arrogant mozilla devs removed the ability to hide the single tab. This extension works perfectly and brings my sanity back.

WHAT A STAR.. . .. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you, your a STAR.... * * * * * Was beginning to pull my hair out ain't got much left as it goes. So Thankyou what a crazy thing to do. I do love Firefox for the 98 percent control you have for the browser until now. Again thanks i like one line for my toolbar but when you open multiple tabs i respect them showing you the tabs but when you have just one open... Crazy. . I am passing on your add on to all my peeps out there.. London England.

I do use tabs, but not when I need to maximize the vertical real estate. Seems like a lot of OS's and applications are being dumbed down recently, I'm getting sick of it already.

Thanks for this add-on... Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thank God you fixed it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Everybody knows this thing is effing stupid. So I'm wondering how many stupid people at Mozilla approved this thing and didn't get it beside the F-Tard that created it?. The Obama generation is ~rocking it~ NOT. Like some guy previously said though this is the stupidest thing in YEARS so yeah thanks for "un-effing' it you guys still do a great job! NOTE: Always leave a WAY TO UNDO SOMETHING! ;-)

THANK GOD!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Removing this functionality from the browser is one of the most obnoxious and ill-conceived things to come from Mozilla in years. The asshat who declared "modern browsers have tabs" seems to think that however HE uses a browser is how everybody uses it. Tabs are f'ing useless and if they want to remove something... just get rid of tabs entirely. Learn to type ALT+TAB for crying out loud!

Thank you for the addon to help revert this no-sense Firefox change, it's sad to see Firefox devs on last versions trying to impose his ideas by the force by removing flexibility/customization capabilities... :(

As others said the addon is almost perfect except that native was faster to hide the bar... but guess maybe no way to do it better on an addon, but surely better that without it.

Poor Choice By Mozilla Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I was very disappointed with the recent update to Firefox that removed the checkbox "Hide tab bar with one tab". Many users prefer to make the most of the screen space that they've purchased and this add-on allows them to still do so.

Necessary add-on! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Mozilla!! Why did you decide to make it mandatory to waste a whole row of screen real estate when only one tab is open? I love and need this add-on ever since you removed that option, my laptop's vertical resolution is pretty crappy and several websites and apps I use daily assume I've got more room...

It works. It removes the tab bar when there's only one tab and reverses a really boneheaded decision by the Firefox team.

Thanks again.

If the Mozilla team is trying to find a way to force me back to Internet Exploder, they are doing a fine job.

The reason I stopped using Internet Exploder is due to the idiotic user interface. It looks like the Mozilla team wants to get into the same boat with Internet Exploder.

It is a shame, really.

Why is Mozilla working so strongly against users' interests? This addon works fine but wouldn't be necessary if Mozilla did think twice before killing useful options..

It works, but... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

... why do we need an add-on for this????

Dear Mozilla developers, please accept that your userbase is split into those who like tabs and those who hate them. If hiding a tab bar with only one tab is a challenge, take it on instead of insisting to waste 10% of your users' real estate for no useful purpose.

Bad Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I've tried this extension due to recent Firefox 23 changes. In my case it was useless as I'm using tab bar with menu bar disabled and installing this addon moves tab bar below address line.

Manually setting browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar in about:config to 'true' leads to visual issues - menu button overlapped with other elements etc.

Mozilla did a very controversial move removing the "Always show tab bar" option from settings. :(
