needs true autohide option Rated 3 out of 5 stars

No point in this addon if there isn't a 'mouse autohide' feature. So you press F2 to hide the navigation bar, then press F2 if you need to go back/forward when browsing? Really?

F11 mode (fullscreen) is not as good as this could be.. because it hides the windows taskbar.

Could have been awesome Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I also have a Macbook, and can't use this plug-in for full screen mode, which was the sole reason, I downloaded it. Would have been great if I could, but since it's useless for me, I can't give it a good review. But let's say it worked for me, then a feature I would wish for would be to auto hide it, which you already can, and then auto display it again when hovering over the top of the window. I think full screen mode works like that in Chrome for reference.

Almost there... but Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I'd love to give this five stars but it won't work on my macbook if you go to full screen and is intermittent at any other time... I played around with the settings but to no avail... A good three stars given as it does work on my linux desktop quite well and gives me that minimalist full on screen real estate I'm after... Fix the mac side of things and I'll happily donate five bucks to the cause!

no auto unhide Rated 4 out of 5 stars

love this extension, but to make it useful navbar needs to un-hide automatically when using ctrl+k, ctrl+l, alt+d, o to allow input

great idea! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

love this extension, but it in future release, navbar needs to un-hide automatically when using ctrl+k, ctrl+l, alt+d to allow input

Auto-hiding is working on Fx 40, Cmd+L/K not working Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Auto-hiding still workis on Fx 40, but I just found that Cmd+L/Cmd+K does not seem to work to bring the nav bar out.

Thanks for your work!

Erratic, well yes, but... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Two buts actually...
1] Tho autohide seems erratic, the F2 toggle works fine, and that's most of the job.
2] Could be just me but it seems that since v38, Firefox has been getting awful fussy. [INCOMPATIBLE INCOMPATIBLE- WARNING WILL ROBINSON!]
I'm happy to have the F2 toggle, which does seem solid.

The extension works well most of times, however on OSX Lion with Firefox 37.0.1 it does not allow me to hide the nav bar when in full screen.

Useful but not so reliable Rated 3 out of 5 stars

The keyboard shortcut doesn't work very well: you often have to press multiple times until the navigation is shown.

Pointless. 0/5 Do Not Install. Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Works for all of 2 seconds until you switch/close tabs and then the nav bar comes back automatically until you F2 again. Absolutely pointless. Stop breaking firefox, give us the option to hide navigation bar in the same right-click menu as hide menu bar and hide bookmarks toolbar. This add-on is a waste of time.

Forced to give a 1/5 star as ZERO is not an option but this add-on does not work if the nav bar can come back on it's own every time you click another tab!!

Simple add-on that still works and does what it says after 3,5 years from its last release!

Like this add-on, but really need to allow for sensitivity adjustment. As poster below points out, navigating around the tab bar or bookmarks bar in the auto-hide mode, the nav bar keeps hiding/unhiding, which is somewhat annoying. Otherwise, very nice.

Nice addition...after installation jumping picture, help ;/

great extension!
-1 for the autohide feature without transition or something like that, which made it strange to use.

Very good work, thanks!
May I suggest an additional feature?
If we can hide navigation bar automatically by site, that would be more useful.
for example we dont want to see urls when browsing Google services

I very much like and find useful this 'hide' addon. Thankyou.
The only thing I see, I would like changed is that under 'auto hide' state, the 'un-hide' should not happen when hovering over tabs. hide / un-hide is annoying as tabs keep 'moving'.. lolo
Thanks,
Landis.

Works great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

BUT there are two things I would rather it could do. As mentioned in other reviews, it would be nice for the navigation bar to appear upon opening a new tab. My biggest concern with this add on is how the page is completely shifted downward when the navigation bar appears. Instead, the navigation bar should lay over the page, without pushing the page down. The way it shifts the page down upon appearing can get quite dizzying!

[Ctrl] + [L] Rated 5 out of 5 stars

What about addding a timer (wait 5secs after pressing enter etc) and overwriting the default behavior of [Ctrl] + [L] when navigation bar is hidden?
