I love this, but either a) I can't drag tabs or b) I can't drag the unmaximized window. I used to be able to eventually drag the tabs with some trial and error, but now I can't do it at all. I'm running 2.1.1 (and I tried 2.1.1rc as well).
The "title bar" in status bar, please make it fixed width. Its width changes like crazy when loading pages.
I was using this extension (and still use?) i 3.6.*, so I can say that it's great!
Now I installed it on 4.0.8pre and... I still have caption even on maximized window, and firefox-button is where it should be, but is un-clickable (sorry for my bad English, which looks like "Engrish"..., but I prefer Polish) - I can only right-click on it, when left-clicked nothing happens...
5 in ff 3.6.*
1 in 4.0.8
(5 + 1) / 2 = 3...
P.S. I wish I can help sending some kind of bug-report, but you must tell me what I should do...
Great add on, but I would also like to locate tabs in the caption bar to save even more space, the file, edit, view etc could go over the tabs when you rollover the firefox button if the tabs were positioned there
EDIT: The options don't make a lot of sense, maybe you could clean it up (All of that text is TL;DR)
Please make the 'nice borders' for resizing completely optional. I would love this addon if it didn't make my firefox into this ugly square monster. I want it to match other Windows 7 programmes. I don't want all my nice glassy borders replaced with Windows 98-era straight cut lines. :\
please try that, it uses system borders and title-bar in un-maximized mode.
It's been working very well here. I've longed for long to have a lean Firefox and this helped a lot.
@anter, you need to hide the titlebar through the settings of the window manager you're using. I think Ubuntu uses compiz so dig into its settings and try and find one that undecorates Firefox's window.
I love this extension. One thing I can think I would like to have in it, though, is the ability to Aero Snap my Firefox window(s) with this addon enabled. I mean by clicking and dragging on an empty area in the toolbars. Maybe if you unmaximize a window that way, for example, it would automatically put your mouse on the title bar and allow you to keep dragging like that.
I confirm that it's not working 100% under Ubuntu: it does not (cannot) remove the title bar. See screenshot: http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/2548/hidecaptions.png Otherwise it's a great extension, works perfectly under Windows XP!
I been looking for addon on to remove the windows title bar for while and now my search is over. Love the addon now if I could find away to make it look like that even when it not maximized it be perfect
((Я не знаю английского и не могу разобраться со всеми функциями((
>> Google Translation (I guessed Russian :-): ((I do not know English and can not deal with all the functions ((
I'm very sorry about that. I'm planning to submit this addon to BabelZilla so any fellow collaborator that knows your language will be able to help.
I hope that you and all people around the world could take full advantage of this and other addons in the future! :-)
Great add-on! By any chance, do you have anything similar for thunderbird?
Great addon and very user friendly, innovative, such as the menu's on hover, after click and with a double column (in stead of vertically longer down)
Working awesome for me..just what i was looking for...\m/
It doesn't work on Ubuntu 10.10
This is the one of the best add-ons for notebooks and netbooks.
super! i love it so much
Simply the best undecorator I've tried - and I've tried a lot. With integrated compact menu and possibility to arrange the toolbars contents freely - it solved all my problems, made a couple of addons I've been using dispensable. Surpassed my expectations.
Thank you DarthMadara.
Thank you for update and upgrade this SUPER Addon!!!
I have two problems with v2.0.2:
1.- Minimize, Maximize and Close buttons are over navigation bar and Counter Tab.
2.- My Custom Close Tab button isn't on right side (browser.tabs.closeButtons;3).
Perfect Addon. In maximised mode 1 or 2 pixels at the top are missing see: http://img825.imageshack.us/img825/3404/screenshotqh.png This is the case in Win7 and vista. Otherwise it's perfect.
First, thanks for a great add-on for maximizing screen space. At first, I didn't see much use for the FF Home Key for own use until I switched to full screen mode. When I switch to Full Screen Mode and go to use the FF Home Key nothing happens. Running FF 4.0 Beta 6
I've been using it for several months now, I have a 16:9 monitor so it's very helpful in saving vertical space. I love the new update to give it the orange Firefox 4 button, looks great. :)
This is what I've been looking for for ages! 16:9 displays make this add-on a must for firefox users. So happy I found this!
is that possible to reserve a tiny space as titlebar after tabs? Just like Google Chrome.
Excellent add-on but windows 7 auto-hide taskbar does not work.
