Privacy Policy

-- Privacy Policy -- Your privacy using headup’s Firefox addon – IN PLAIN ENGLISH: Lower down you’ll find the legalese explaining how SemantiNet, the company that owns and develops headup, protects your privacy. Because you probably aren’t a lawyer, we thought we’d explain how we feel about your privacy in plain English as well: We treasure our privacy and that’s exactly why we made every effort to create a browser add-on that would live up to user privacy standards we would be comfortable with. We’d be embarrassed to let you download an add-on we wouldn’t download ourselves. Your privacy using headup in plain English: 1. We don’t ask you to register for headup because we don’t need you to. 2. Your personal details are stored on your personal computer, because that’s where they belong. This is one of the reasons we chose to base headup on the Silverlight platform. 3. We have no record of your personal details on our servers so none of us has to worry about them ever being hacked. 4.
