It'd be nice to have a list of referrers and more options by default for UAs, but they can be added manually anyway.
Just a kind of "version bump" (a bit more complex, but doesn't matter) -- the same (thanks to original addon author) simple and mostly handy UI and no any improvements, custom headers support absent.
Nice add on, I hope any random referer and user agent list in the future.
good and useful
Thanks to the autors for publishing this revived version of former HeaderControl. This tool is just right for me. Its usage is intuitive and better than by other tools like RefControl.
For me personally its best feature is the appearance. I don`t want any tool, that I ones set and which configuration should be default for all sites I visit, to waste place on my control panel.
This tool offers a conjunction of three most useful features to protect your privacy while serving in internet. A MUST HAVE for those of you, who look for a way to protect yourself.
Would be nice to have Cache-control as well.
Thank you so much for the revive.
But would you mind adding the ability to use any kind of header on a per-site basis? So you could use your own headers?
I think a lot of people would greatly appreciate that.
Hello. Thanks for the feedback. Indeed, you are not the only one who is asking for this feature. We already have a ticket for that at the issue tracker: https://bitbucket.org/Torvin/headercontrolrevived/issue/11/allow-to-add-any-http-header
You can watch it to be notified when this feature is implemented.
What does "intra-site" mean exactly?. Apparently, it doesn't include subdomains according to my experience.
A very useful plugin (especially after Quick Locale Switcher was abandoned and stopped working).
Torvin, could you please create a toolbar button to easily access plugin options?
UAControl and RefControl are two good examples of similar plugins with nice buttons and context menus.
It's GREAT that this addon is back and thank you very much !!!
But I have one problem - user agent mangling seems that it does not work with https sites for me.
Thanks again anyway !
thank you! glad to see this project had new life breathed into it!!!
If you have new features ideas - please email me.
