Provides easy inline interface for dictionary service while reading news/articles.
No need to go to separate tab and type keyword to get details, just double click on the word (or right click for link) and details will be displayed on the same page.
About this Add-on
Now(v0.3) links are also supported, just right click on any link and context menu will display words from the link to look for.
Additionally select the word manually and right click to look-up the word from context menu.
Now(v0.3) five dictionaries are supported, select your favourite dictionary for look-up.
Kindly take a note that this tool provides just interface, actual dictionary service is provided by public interface of selected dictionary website.
v0.4 added Compact Mode, a very simple definition of word for quick look-up.
- compact mode was not displaying title after oxford dictionary website interface was changed
- WeakMap is adopted in case Node.getUserData is not available
- bug 842372: The Node.getUserData and Node.setUserData methods are no longer available from Web contents
- Obsolete since Gecko 22 (Firefox 22)
