Great to see that it finally supports FF4, but where do I find the Greasefire icon now?
Greasefire simply adds fire to the background of the GM/Scriptish logo within their toolbar button, so you need to be using the toolbar button.
great to finally see and use the FF4 version, it seems to work well so far. For some reason it doesn't show as available for FF4 on this page, but just add "versions" to the end of the URL - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasefire/versions/
when's is greasefire gunner be come available on firefox 4 because i miss that addon as its very helpfull?????
Version 1.0.6 is awaiting a review, but you can find it at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasefire/versions/ now.
What happened to this getting updated the other day?
I just mail to Steve few days ago and now he's going to submit a new version soon.
If you need a workable version with Firefox4 "NOW" , you could use the one I fork , and it will get in next official version.
Still a new fork version with Firefox4 support,
then I add scriptish support now.
More details , please reference to
http://files.tonyq.org/firefox/greasefire-126.96.36.199-fx.xpi wont install because its corrupt.
update for firefox 4 would be tha ish
please update for ff4!!
This App has not been updated since the Beginning of 2009! We have the newer Firefox 4 and is vastly different from other Versions of Firefox. Reason, most likely, Greasefire has not been compatible. If it is a monetary thing? Well, I have no problem donating to developers who provide an excellent service with their dedication on making Firefox truly a personalized experience for the end user.
yep we are waiting for compatible with ff 4 ^^
An update for Firefox 4 will be much appreciated.
firefox 4 please was much helpful to find scripts for sites
Please, update for Firefox 4. Thanks!
Brilliant extension ! Please continue update for Firefox 4 !
Please update for firefox 4.0 +
Sounds like this plug-in needs an update for FF4*. Is there ANY way to ignore scripts @including too widely? Seriously I only want to know about scripts that currently run ON THIS PAGE that i'm currently visiting.
Please update it for firefox 4!!
Notice the part up there that says... "Works with Firefox 3.0 - 3.6.*"
The triggers are not firing on Firefox 4.0 beta 9, using Greasefire 1.0.4 from the Googlecode repository (issue 16). E.g. when I visit www.nytimes.com, there should be the names several scripts listed in the context menu of the add-on bar's Greasemonkey icon, but there are only the Greasemonkey scripts I've already added for generic http addresses.
I hope the developer can sort this problem out out; this is a very useful adjunct to Greasemonkey and worked flawlessly in earlier versions of Firefox.
almost forgot ...be sure to uninstall current version before installing fixed one ...here is a link to the fixed version ...http://code.google.com/p/greasefire/issues/detail?id=16
pity to say, but this addon doesn't work anymore. hopefully they will fix it soon
Greasefire Search is not working after the server shutdown of userscripts.
Maybe they changed the search results or the search method. Anyway. When will greasefire be adopted to deliver search results for the current site in Firefox again. Desperately missing this feature.
I love greasefire. Regards
A great add-on. I only wish it had a block scripts feature - to be able to block scripts from reappearing in the suggestion list.
This is... the... third... to the second... best thing I have ever seen.
P.S. @TmoWizard I can certainly sympathize, I feel the same about a number of things. However, you cannot give the addon a bad review because it does not work for the browser you use. Besides, except for Netscape, Mozilla is the sole parent of this technology. When they become evil, like the car companies, I will switch.
