GPGFox provide a very lightweight layer for performing encryption/decryption using GPG in your browser. So far, the only thing that really works is decryption. This is a preview release, and you should not consider this software to be ready.
About this Add-on
This addon adds two items:
- an entry in the context menu called "decrypt text here",
- an entry in the context menu called "encrypt this text"
This is mostly a proof-of-concept that should not be considered ready for general use. It has been tested on Linux only, and what I did was just make sure that you can decrypt an email in GMail. The encryption feature only works for text areas, which means it won't work for webmails yet.
I don't plan to invest a lot of energy into this addon, so if you want to make it better, you should consider contributing. The code is available on GitHub.
