Work well Rated 4 out of 5 stars

If we can see the record on Google url shortener web better.

Almost works Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Almost works, except for the logo in the URL bar which claims that the URL is not correct (like for the others).
Right-clicking the tab works
Right clicking the page body works
Right-clicking the URL selected URL (via Ctrl-A or with the mouse) does not show the shortening icon, probably for the same reasons as for the URL bar.

I guess the issue is with the lack of "http://" - this should be fixed, I do not want to change this behavior in about:config.

Fail Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Zero stars. No matter what URL I try, all I seem to get is "The url in the urlbar is not a valid one".

It works for this page on which I typing a review, so it looks like the "http://" is still required (explained as a work-around by an earlier reviewer), which suggests that this add-on has been broken since at least October 2011, and it's now May 2012.

Perfectly useless Rated 1 out of 5 stars

No matter which site I am on, this addon tells me that the URL "in the urlbar is not a valid one."

http://www.google.com/ is apparently an invalid URL to this addon.

Not Working Rated 1 out of 5 stars

simple & efficient. excellent.

Here's a fix that makes this work again in FF 7.x Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Here's a recipe that will restore the http/https in the URL bar, and thereby make this add-on work again:

http://techdows.com/2011/09/show-http-in-firefox-7-address-bar.html

for "Doesn't work with FF 7.0.1" Rated 5 out of 5 stars

goto about:config
search for browser.urlbar.trimURLs
then set the value to "false"

Doesn't work with FF 7.0.1 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

With the upgrade to FF 7.0.1, this addon stops working because 'http://' is hidden by default in the url bar.

Works great, On Windows FF 5.0 there is a button in the address bar.

I would like to see an option to have the links associated with a users Google account so that they can be accessed for traffic analysis.

No Shortener Button Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Nice Idea, but no Button in the URL-Bar! Only in Context-Menue... (FF5.0)

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This works much fine for my latest Mozilla on Ubuntu 11.04. :)

Where is the stat? I want to see the click analytics but I don't think all those shortened links that are generated by this plugin gets into the goo.gl's history. Any options available?

customize Button Rated 4 out of 5 stars

cant customize the Google Shortener Button. Switch it to another Site of my Browser won't work.

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It works well, but suddenly in 4.0b13pre the icon for the shortener has disappeared from the URL bar. There's no context menu to shorted the current URL.

Expands only goo.gl shortened urls Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Expands only goo.gl shortened urls. Useless
In 2011 and Firefox 4, thousands of extensions but not ONE url expander, unshortener (whatever you name it), there were some for Firefox 3.x, none updated. This purpose seems essential, and scripts I've found here and there are mostly Tweeter restricted.
So, if you are skilled and are searching for a useful extension to code, go ahead, please !!

Could you please provide some more features like —

1. Right click tab context menu or right click page context menu
2. Right click image context menu (will shorten the image url)

Another thing is that, it doesn't integrate in the address bar in FF3.6 like it does in FF4.

Thanks for your valuable feedback

I'll definitely include those features in the next version.

Cheers
