So rigid, very little customization offered.
TOO BAD, NEW FOX CAN NOT ADD ON GOOGLE SHORTCUT FUNCTION, THIS IS NOT GOOD , I HAVE TO INSTALL BACK OLD VERSION TO KEEP THIS SHORTCUT FUNCTION.
Simple and effective. Thank you!
Firefox 57 32 bit. Cannot remove icons from list displayed. Cannot add my own specific urls.
Great plugin. Please add the ability to added custom link, this will be cool.
Everything works great on FF57+
Very nice extension. Would be even better if it had an option to display the Google product names (without the word "Google") under each icon, in addition to showing them when the mouse pointer hovers over them. It is very difficult to remember what all of those icons mean, and it takes too much time to hover over each one. Also: How about adding an option to define new entries (icon and URL)?
Facil y rapido para los servicios de Google.
This version is VERY inferior to prior releases. It now feels like an advertisement for Google products. It has NO real "Help" features and is NOT intuitive. Some of the best features of prior versions: intuitive interface; ability to add custom links to non-Google sites; flexibility in deciding where the pop-up appears; readily available admin button to adjust features.
Update 11/2017: Still terrible, no attempt to correct deficiencies. Earlier versions (see Google Shortcuts) permitted adding your own URLs. This is a waste of time
It just would be more useful if I could choose to open the links in a new tab
just what i was looking for! awesome!
You can't put shortcuts out of its main box anymore. If you want so, you have to find and install a previous version and deactivate autoupdate and keep in mind that you must not update it !
What happened guys ? Why did you do that ?
Then I think https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/google-shortcuts-all-google-se/ is better, even if it's obsolete and you have to manually adjust shortcuts URL.
The only Google Shortcuts extention that is updated!! Simple and easy to add, remove, or move icons.
I will ONLY use version 1.1.4. Any updated version is slow and involve an extra click to go the Google site your interested in.
Version 1.1.4 ROCKS!!
Icon tool bar not maintained. An update is required to change from Picasa to Google Photos, minus one star. Otherwise it is a useful and well designed add-on - four stars.
It would be more useful if I could choose to open it in a new tab or in the current one.
Thank you for the wonderful enlargement! I use it for chrome and firefox.
For chrome, there is the botton: add bookmarks, but unfortunately not for the firefox. It would be wonderful if it would also add a botton bookmark for the firefox.
I did not know how I should come without their extension to the individual google functions.
Thanks again for this great expansion!
Wonderful little addon!
5-stars when working. 1-star(min) when not. Icons Button routinely disappears w/o notice & not come back until it chooses. With no icons button no addon advantage exists. Have emailed but the fix is not permanent. Directions please, now. Update, been working pretty consistent last 60 days with only 2 re-installs needed, so upgraded to 4 stars.
Edit: Now solely very short interruptions sooo fair is fair and thus am upgrading to 5 stars. Thanks guys, Appreciated!!
Agree with previous posters, there is no way to install individual icons when using v1.1.5. Tested with FF ESR 38.7.1.
Reverted to 1.1.4
"The panel is customizable. You can drop unwanted icons out of it." is not the solution.
In the last version, click "Options" redirect to the "More" page and it's no longer possible to select individuals toolbar icons.
thanks very helpful application should not open too many tabs open in the browser
Mark L has right. There is missing settings for "Individual icons" in Google Shorcuts 1.1.5 under FF 45.0.2, and therefore disappeared from the Addon bar or anywhere else were located..
Thanks for fix.
Version 1.1.4 is OK.
