It's dead Jim. RIP
This was one of my most used add-ons but unfortunately it won't be updated for Quantum.
People looking for alternatives should check out Dictionary Anywhere. I've been using it for a bit now and it does the job.
for FF 57 please
... so I really hope, we will be able to use it even in the future. Keep up the good work!
But will there be an WebExtension Version? Please...!
I love it.
I try to install it and then it requests to restart the Firefox, I give the permission but when the Firefox is run again I'm back to square one. Thoughts anyone? (I'm using Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS)
Please add the option to translate the selected text as well as the whole page, this would be very useful. All that would need to happen would be for the "Translate Page" option to change to "Translate Selection" when text is highlighted. Otherwise, good add-on, thank you.
I Love it.
Please update to add e10s compatibility (multiprocess).
Thanks for the addon. It's fantastic.
Please add translate with double right click.
This add-on works well for the most part, though I still miss the ability to translate a whole page in the same tab (i.e., without opening a new tab). But it still serves its purpose most of the time. Thanks
Esta si aparece debajo de la barra de direcciones y te sugiere traducir, no como las otras de su tipo que a fuerzas tienes que abrir la aplicación y mandarte a otra ventana.
i just drag my pdf to the browser thrn i can know every word and every detail .... best add on ever for instant translation
Please add e10s/electrolysis/multiprocess support!
Please support for Google Chrome! Very nice extension, but I use Chrome :(
I really like this add-on but please add a button to make it possible to listen to the highlighted word.
The title tells all.
I did favoured firefox over chrome, but the switch came at a cost of losing that Google Dictionary feature.
This one finally complements it. Thanks to the developer.
I just installed and tweaked it (by reading the help-pages and changing the tooltip script) and it turned out to be very useful.
imho, the only deficit is, when using the german wiktionary as source -compared to the english ones, which can be shown at the same time-, the addon shows far too less information from that site.
Also, it sometimes gives different results for the same selected word, depending on where on the webpage the word is selected ;-) funny...
I had to revert to an older version
the " 7.2.1 signed " is more accurate in translation (new version said "this page cannot translate because its already in english" (also opening in a new tab cause complications for the app i think)
but the older version is very great !
