fully agree with GOLDIE, could make organising much easier. please update asap!!!
How is there no such add-on available right now for Firefox?! This is makes sense so much and is so needed! Please bring this add-on back to life! All is needed is to 'select text, right click, 'Add to my Gcalendar', WIN!). Please...
I would love to see a Firefox add-on that turns Google Calendar into a CRM program. In other words, the add-on would access your contacts and your calendar and allow you to save appointment templates to your google calendar. For example, if I meet somebody new, and I want to use my calendar to set a reminder to call them in 1 week, 1 month, 2 months, and 6 months, it would input those dates all at one time, instead of me having to set up four appts for each person.
This add-on appears to be exactly what I am looking for. It's most frustrating that it's out of date. If there are any developers looking for an abandoned add-on to adopt, this is the one to pick!
Elias, please bring this one back to life, we'd really like to be able to use it again!
I agree... bring this extension back to life!! FF3 Needs it!
Works on FF3.
Apparently not allowed in FF3 because it does not provide secure updates. Boo. Please bring this extension back to life!
Not allowed in FF 3?
This add-on is the best. Please update it for FF3.01
Thanks mi ve!! Your fix worked! I am very happy to have this working again. Will Elias be willing to post the fixed file? It took 2 minutes to do.
I tried your fix and I get an error message saying it is not compatible with Firefox 3.0.1
Should the version be changed to 3.0.1.* or 3.0.* as shown. I tried both and got similar errors.
works with FF3 :)
It works with FF3 with the usual trick: download the quickgooglecal.xpi file (from his website), change .xpi in .zip, unzip 'install.rdf' in an editor and change the maxVersion variable from '2.0.0.*' to '3.0.*'. Don't forget to remove the line with updateURL!! Torrez' own updateURL is insecure according to FF3 so removing it will make FF think updating will occur through addons.mozilla.org. Save the modified file, rezip, change back to .xpi, and install.
PLEASE!!! Update for FF 3.0. This has long been my among my favorite add-ons. PLEASE!!!
not even a try if not support ff3. pls!
Great add-on. I just wish there were an option to have it automatically launch my Google calendar after I enter a new event so that I can confirm that it got recorded in the right way and isn't conflicting with something else.
please for firefox 3
I would love to see this working for Google Apps Calendars --- but it's a great tool for those with personal Gmail / Google Calendar.
Any chance to make this 3.0 compatible?
I works fine with an AZERTY keybord (France) using Ctrl+Shift+$.
Good extension. Ctrl + ; doesn't work, but Ctrl + Shift + ; (Ctrl + :) works. Shortcut for toggle would be great.
CTRL + does not work!!!!\r\n\r\nI am getting the ZOOM + function instead!
Works fine so far. Nifty. Couldn't find any documentation however.
Thanks, I've been looking for a way to roll notifications and Google Calendar into one application!
BTW, if your time is several hours ahead/behind, make sure to check Options > Timezone Options and make sure to select your appropriate timezone... else, the plugin will assume you're in GMT!
