Not quite the same

+1... Just because you have a use for it doesn't mean no one will. You need to rate on the functionality of the tool and how it matches up to what the dev described. Not your personal need for it. Maybe if you would of read the description in the first place. You would of known what it did and never made it to the point of commenting. Please stop being so ignorant.
PS; Even if this addon was garbage (its not but if), I don't see how you people think you can complain. He is writing this (which takes time) then letting you use it for free! If its not good enough for you then lets see what you can make and how you feel when people under-rate your work for no reason.
Thanks for the hard work dev,
Unless I'm misunderstanding something here, I don't see the point of this add on either. If you are using Windows 7 and you want a movable Google Calendar button in Firefox 3.6.6, simply type Google Calendar into your address bar - instead of a URL and hit enter. Google will automatically take you to your Google calendar page. Then, when you see the Calendar icon that appears to the left of the URL, just click it and drag it onto your Firefox toolbar. Voila! A movable button that works
I do not see the point of this add-on. If you want a small icon to get you to GCal quickly, just do this: Bookmark Google Calendar on your bookmarks toolbar. You will notice that Google Calendar provides its own favicon. Edit the bookmark, remove all text from the Name field, et voila, you've got exactly the same functionality without an extra add-on weighing down your browser.
Yes, you've described how you create a bookmark, but the bookmark can only go on the bookmark toolbar. This add-on creates a button, which gives you more flexibility in where you can place it.
I freely admit that it is a very simple add-on that might not be for everyone, but I find it useful, and from the reviews, it seems a few others do too.
I can see giving a 1-star review if it didn't work as advertised, but simply because you don't want to use it? You might as well give every add-on you don't have installed a bad ranking.
its just ctrl+click!! thanks man great extension! and thanks for the feedback
how can i change options to open in a new tab??
Great Add-on. Missing very necessary option to Open in New Tab. Maybe an options window? Or at least something you can check so that it opens in a new tab by default.
Fantastic! Very useful.
Works great! Though I give it five stars, I agree with the previous review in wanting to see an option to place it in the task bar.
Good, simple add-on, but I'd like to see the options to put it in the status bar and to open in a new tab.
Very useful for Google Calendar users.
Support for ctrl+click to open in a new tab would make this just perfect :)
Would like to see this work with Google Apps for Domains calendar. Always seems to take you to the the standard gCal.
Simple add-on, which gets the job done... But please update it to FF3.0
Simple, yet great add-on. Any chance of an update for FF3... oh and the suggestion from Le Biscuit would be cool too....
Eagerly awaiting a FF3-compatible version! This thing is so simply good.
Love the easy access to the calendar
I would like to see an option for user name and password with auto login so that it takes you right to your calendar, thanks for the add-on.
Very convenient, I added the Googcal next to the Gmail icon. Looking forward to the next version with the option to open the Googcal in new tab or separate window.
It does what it claims - perfect for me!
