Why is data collection necessary? Who runs the company, and who are they associated with? Having clauses such as these in the EULA should make more people suspicious.

"(b) Date Collection and Privacy.

"You understand that the functionality of the Software involves the tracking and storage of certain non-personally identifiable data relating to your Internet usage and expressed personal preferences and interests."

That's really too bad.

I have had BlueOrganizer since it first came out and wouldn't leave home without it.

Not only have the developers streamlined it but they make it easy to use. I live overseas and use Blue Organizer for all my travel info, shopping lists, and also in some categories, as a what I already have list.

Everyone needs this in their life. It saves a lot of wear and tear on the mind.

Crappy effort Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It let's you customize your sites pretty nice until you realize it's not going to let you turn off Netflix for movies, Smart Search reviews, TinyURLs and others. It's still a little buggy, and it's a memory hog. Good idea, terrible execution. Stay away.

Amazing add-on that I honestly cannot live without. One click saves photos, books, movies, etc. All can be accessed via a small sidebar if you wish. Wonderful, small, powerful and easy to use. You won't be sorry!

Great way to make your surfing more efficient Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great customer service! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have a hard time keeping up with the latest technology so I am sure I'm not yet even using the smart links up to their full potential. I have made a widget that I love, though, and put it on my blog. It was very easy to do. I just followed the directions on their site.

I also love the customer service from these guys. And to think this is a free deal. I didn't pay them and yet, when I had a question I emailed them and they got back to me within minutes. And this was after hours on a Friday night! Fraser went back and forth with me several times answering my questions. Way above and beyond the call of duty.

BlueOrganizer Rules! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

BlueOrganizer is an excellent concept that's delivered really well! It's what I thought the web was going to turn into, but it hadn't.

Items on web pages are really objects, and you can perform actions on them, like grabbing a book from Amazon or jumping to a person's flickr profile.

It integrates with heaps of current services like delicious, stumbleupon, book, netflix, linkedin etc. etc. etc. and just makes surfing between related things and organizing them how you like really simple and straightforward. You can also share your stuff between browsers, so that you can take your bookmarks, images, even recipes with you. What a great concept :-)

Excellent Add-on, great work guys!

BlueOrganizer provides a whole new experience in using the Internet. I've only been using BlueOrganizer for a few days, and am already wondering how I ever got along without it. I'm finding it endlessly useful, and amazing in all the things it does. I feel like a kid with a brand new toy! And no, I don't work for the company, LOL.

Take it with you Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've been using BlueOrganizer since it first came out and it has improved tremendously. I use it to shorten URLs, load books to my LibraryThing account, Twitter interesting websites, save & edit bookmarks--including changing the graphics for each bookmark--and overall maintain a versatile system of useful features in whatever computer I use--I even installed it on my portable Firefox 3 beta 5.

It's become such a useful tool to organize, save, and share my online content that I depend on it to extend my everyday online experience.

I Love BlueOrganizer- Highly Recommended! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

BlueOrganizer is a great tool for anyone who maintains a website or blog, or just loves to bookmark. It offers a whole new dimension to the internet experience. I implemented SmartLinks and customized my own widgets on my blog http://www.loricalabrese.blogspot.com and don't know how I got by without them. I wish everyone had them. The step by step directions are easy to follow, even for those who are HTML illiterate!
With SmartLinks, you instantly give your readers a way to learn more about books, music, and videos. They can read about it on the site of their choice, find reviews, and buy it from their preferred store.

SmartLinks work in Blogger, TypePad, WordPress, and more.

Or you can make your own custom widgets for your site! It's really easy to do, and the site offers video tutorials to help you out along the way. If you have any questions, the support team is extra friendly and will help you with whatever you need. It really is as easy as bookmarking your favorite products. Once you create the SmartLink Widget and post it on your blog or profile page it will update anytime a new item is added much like RSS feeds. I did this in no time flat and I'm not a computer expert, by any means. The widgets are also easily grabbed and shared by fans to display on their own site, helping to further market your products across the web. The widgets update automatically whenever you add or delete - so everyone receives the update in their widget.

I have no affiliation with Adaptive Blue whatsoever! I'm a children's writer who maintains a blog, found their product, and fell in love with it. I just wanted to share this information with others.

Has promise Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Looks like it could be pretty useful, but I couldn't tell what to do. The create widget feature told me to create a widget, but then said "click to install" but it didn't tell me where it was going to install it. Once I figure it out, I'll see if I can raise my review.

The Indigo Release Is The Best Yet Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This latest release, BlueOrganizer Indogo, is the best I've seen yet. I don't do much on the web with books, music, wines, stocks or any of the other things people talk about when you mention BlueOrganizer. All I wanted was a better way to organize my bookmarks, and these guys have made the perfect tool for that. Any boomark, on any page on the web, classified the way I decide.

But then I noticed the widgets, and I thought, hey, I could put some of these on my blog... so I did. Then I thought, hey, I could make a widget list of the most popular pages on my blog according to Feedburner... so I did. Then one of my readers said she never clicked my "Recommended Reading" links because they looked like Google text ads. So I made a widget out of them, too. I went freakin widget crazy, making my own and grabbing some I saw and just liked, and my readers started clicking!

I've been using BlueOrganizer and SmartLinks on my pc's and blogs now for several months, and I love it. I can track what's being clicked, my readers can see what other people are clicking, my site usage in on the rise. I switch from my office pc to my home pc to my laptop and my BlueMarks follow me everywhere I am. Make a change to one and the 1st time you pull up Firefox on the next machine it asks you if you want to sync the current machine to the last one. And customer service? AdaptiveBlue IS customer service. What's not to love?

I consider the BlueOrganizer a required addon for Firefox. Every power user needs it. Once you try it out you'll wonder how you ever got by without it. Cliche? Maybe. True? Definitely.

It Actually Helps You Out Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This addon is in a league of it's own, honestly. I've been doing web dev for 10 years and haven't come across anything like this before. The bottom line is it's actually a useful tool that grows on ya from the get go.

Adds value for blog readers Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love using BlueOrganizer to keep lists of recommended books and movies for my blog readers. First, I tag the items that I want to show with a unique tag to keep them separate from my own personal tags. Then I use the BlueOrganizer button from within Firefox to create a SmartLink Feed Widget for my site. The whole process is very easy, and I especially like the end result - a visually beautiful and appealing list that blends well with my blog. Each of the entries in the list has a lot of space devoted to the description of the book or movie, not just a large image. The font that is used is very clear and readable. One of the key reasons I selected this add-on was because I wanted to gently monetize my web site. In this case, I want to provide valuable themed book recommendations to my readers as my primary goal and not make it look like I'm just selling books. The lists are shown without prices, which syncs with my goal. If the user clicks on the books to get more information and does ultimately decide to purchase, the widget passes my Amazon associate ID through so I will get credit. AdaptiveBlue's widget fit my need better than any of Amazon's own widgets did!

It'll change the way you browse, blog and maintain your links and lists - Fantastic for Amazon book lovers Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm an amazon book junky and blogger. The Blue Organizer has become an indispensable browsing and publishing tool for me - in the same way that del.icio.us tags, google notes and tabbed browsing are. The mark of a really good browsing tool, is when you miss it the second you don't have it. I would definitely miss my BlueOrganizer if I was browsing or blogging on a friend's computer. Here are a couple of reasons why -

Saves me a lot of time - make tinyurls and share any page on twitter, tumblr, facebook or delicious with one click.

Organize stuff quickly - people, books, albums, recipes, blogs...it knows exactly what you're looking at and saving and categories are pre-populated - everything you save is searchable with natural language. All your stuff is really easy to find with pull down menus and search - especially if you save lots and browse a lot.

Bloggers Rejoice. Publishing a new item into a graphical widget feed takes under 15 seconds (20 seconds if you add your own notes! and yes..I timed it), and does not require a log-in. You do it as you re browsing - it's as fast as adding a del.icio.us tag.

Widgets of all types (books, music, bookmarks) are snap to set up on a blog and is completely customizable - you fully control the way your SmartLinks work, look and feel - and it's all accomplished, again, through your browser. Just as easy as adding a tag - you can add dynamic content to a blog.

If you're constantly on amazon and love your wish lists - this is a great tool for you. Adding a book to your organizer is the fastest, most efficient way to maintain your lists as you continue to browse - add notes, find out more information on the book and about the author with smartlinks without the need for a Google search.

Try it. It'll become a permanent part of your firefox tool bar. Trust me.
