- Rated 1 out of 5by Danohall, 23 days agoHave auto update enabled, but for the past year, it never shows the library as having actually updated unless I manually do it. Several emails to Ghostery and they still can't/won't fix the issue. They keep saying "it's updating even though it doesn't look like it is." Even tried uninstalling/reinstalling app but no change.

We understand your frustration! Sorry for that! The Ghostery tracker library updates automatically every 24h but the date does not change in the UI, except you update it manually. The support team communicated this in our email conversations.
We are funneling all our efforts towards an extensively reworked version of Ghostery, adapting to upcoming changes imposed upon browser extensions developers by major industry players.

Ghostery Team - Rated 1 out of 5by Rochelle Shepherd, 25 days agoIt does not work at all. I keep experiencing pop up advertising, and game apps from Google Play Store every minute. Even on Netflix it is constant and extremely frustrating. I installed Firefox as well with Ghostery and it has not worked.

What we know at the moment is that sometimes Youtube shows the message "You're offline. Check your connection." Simply reloading the page helps fix this based on our research.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Sigi-Stadeln, a month agoIch verwende Firefox sowohl auf dem Laptop mit Windows 11, wie auch auf dem Smartphone mit Android 14. Auf beiden Geräten ist als Erweiterung Ghostery installiert.
Seit wenigen Tagen funktioniert auf beiden Geräten der Aufruf der Internetseite nordbayern.de nicht mehr. Der Bildschirm graut sich aus. Bei allen anderen von mir besuchten Webseiten funktioniert alles immer noch bestens.
Jetzt habe ich entdeckt, dass es möglich ist, Ghostery zeitweise unter Windows abzuschalten (deinstallieren wollte ich es nicht). In dem Fall kann ich wieder auf die Website zugreifen. Nordbayern.de hat also seit neuestem einen Ghostery-Blocker drauf.
Eigentlich sollte man das an die Entwickler von Ghostery melden. Ich weiß aber nicht, wie ich die erreiche, hoffe aber trotzdem, dass ich mit diesem Post jemanden erreiche, den das interessiert.

Die Funktionalität für nordbayern.de sollte automatisch in max. 24 Stunden aktualisiert werden. nordbayern.de sollte dann wieder einwandfrei funktionieren.
