Keeps my Internet usage uncomplicated, I can readily find any site. In conjunction with LastPass I find using the internet a joy not a chore.
convenient, rich interface, useful, new version works fine
It works well, the layout can be customized and the best part is I can download all my dials onto any pc
easy to use, very good
This is my home tab for my Firefox Quantum, Opera and Chrome. That I can sync on all the browsers and devices I use makes shifting a no-issue. I like its visual appeal, ease of use and flexibility with its a gamut of options you can tweak. This has practically replaced my bookmarks (which I am finding cumbersome to use now as it ballooned to an unimaginable size over the years). One caveat though: syncing is problematic at times.
I like that I can customize the whole thing and that it helps me to organize all of the Websites that I frequent.
Developers still won't remove the annoying popup that happens when the dials refresh and because of this the browser will sometimes be minimized when you open it again and if you have multiple monitors the browser will appear on the second screen instead of the main screen.
If the people that made this plugin would just remove that annoying problem then it would be a good plugin to use.
Easy to create tabs for the sites I use the most, and easy to use! Saves so much time when I'm paying bills or checking accounts! No more bookmarking or favorite tabs. Everything I use is on one page and all I have to do is click!
I was using spots on google chrome but google deleted it as it broke there shitty rules so I have been looking for something to replace it and finally found this nwhich is even better as you can edit pretty much everything to suite your needs.
very good new tab paper tool
Лучшая стартовая страница из всего, что пробовал (правда, пробовал не так уж и много - уж очень она понравилась :) )
It became impossible to save a faint background image in the Firefox 60 browser
Also, in the field, your image is not displayed
It's easy to use and it's way better than what firefox has in the begining.
Speed Dial allows me to organize all of my favorite sites visually for easy access. I can keep sites in categories to remember sites for specific purposed. Love it.
I used to tell everyone I knew to use FVD Speed Dial many years ago. FVD Speed Dial became an essential feature of my experience online. At different points I considered it rather indispensable. This add-on also became, for me, an example of an add-on that has consistently had functionality issues and could be downright frustrating to work out - all the more so because I depended on it and tried my best to look past its problems.
Even if you put aside the Nimbus's questionable policies, the plain reality is that it has become far too inconsistent to count on. FVD Speed Dial hasn't received regular maintenance or updates and, frankly, it shows. Sometimes, I would have a fine, working experience with the dials and sometimes I would experience the FVD Speed Dial poltergeist, despite having every setting in accordance with the add-on's requirements. Dials would be opened again and again, cycling through one after the next; The extension would load over my home page even though it was directed to open in a new tab only. the extension would cycle through my dials and keep loading them over and over again regardless of having all of my settings follow FVD Speed Dial's requirements. Was there something nefarious behind it? Did speed dial benefit from specifically opening certain pages in some way? Or was this more of a sign of how long in the tooth the add-on had become. My guess is it was just poorly updated to function with Firefox as it continues to innovate. Needless to say, a week ago I found an exceptional replacement with much better transparency, greater ease of use and functionality and the community's interests at heart and it was very easy to migrate the dials from FVD to what may become my new permanent go to. As I look around, there are a great number of dials emerging to meet user needs.
One parting word of caution: make sure you have your dials backed up locally. I'm really glad I had local back ups because when I logged in to try to download my dials from the parent website, I was told that that was a service available to pro users only at a pretty unreasonable cost of $4.99 a month. I knew Nimbus charged for a pro plan. I didn't know that all of the sudden the data would be held hostage for a price. Out of curiosity, I tried deleting enough dials to get it to just 150 dials and I still wasn't able to download them.
very nice app, till now everything works fine. the only thing which irritates me is the flashing screen after adding a new dial. there could be a button to enable or disable this function.
When I'm on a site and my curser hits a spot the speed dial page comes up on top of the page I'm looking at really annoying. Also when I add a page to SD it blinks on and off until I close the browser and reopen it. Really disappointed since I really missed it when it was gone from previous Firefox versions. Now I use one that is compatible with Chrome that doesn't have these problems.
