Kind of pointless, does what it says but there are other extensions like TabCinema which work on most any site for this purpose.
Number A: The swf files aren't that small. If it is it can easily be fixed by using the zoom feature.
Too bad it is not compatible with FF 3.5.
The numbers on AMO should allow you to install it now. I've also uploaded a new version that will add compatibility as well.
Until Greasemonkey compatibility gets fixed, I'd suggest using http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php/User:Phlip/Greasemonkey
You can shut off any of the extra features if you don't like them.
I confirmed JediJeff's findings -- disabling Greasemonkey got FSHSR working again. Hard choice to make, but for now I'm going FS with my HSR.
Always was a great addon, but it will not work if you have the Grease Monkey script addon installed with v3.0 of FF.
So pick and choose - full screen HSR and no scripts, of tiny HSR and scripts working.
As a fan of the site this is a must have. It's simple but great.
One word: GLORIOUS.
This is everything I always knew I always wanted!
I've been using this for years, and it's fantastic! But it does NOT work with Firefox 3 at this time. I think the version number was just upped to FF 3 out of laziness. Tsk. Please, your the only one who ever wrote anything this cool! Update!
I have been using this add-on for a long time and am happy to report that it still works great with Firefox 3. Yes, it is not perfect -- Main Menu 22 still won't show up in an expanded manner, plus a few other things aren't quite right such as when the site uses a jpeg or an embedded video (such as the Little Girl series). All that being said, this still deserves five stars for everything it DOES do, which is a lot...especially if you're lucky like me to have a 22" widescreen monitor.
It does not work with main page 22
downloaded Fullscreen Homestar Runner a few days ago and it worked until now. There's some kind of bug, I guess, that only makes it work for a week or so.
Still works for me.
I noticed an update came out for this a few days ago, and it finally seems to be working like it used to (with the automatic resizing). Great work, I love this extension.
"That's like a hundred million dollars in Dog years."
Not pleased with 2.0 here. The visible resizing is annoying and the final size is nowhere near fullscreen. So that's 2 minus points for the previously worth-a-10 extension.
The picture did not get any bigger vertically, but it did extend one inch left and right. Unfortunately, the black curved border did not extend as well, meaning that the actual cartoon was the same size; there was just extra space on either side - the ends of the flash objects that were used to make the cartoon. I get the same phenomenon when viewing the source material for a refined flash cartoon; there are loose ends visible that normally aren't, and which are very distracting. Ocassionaly, the entire setup disappears and the cartoon becomes slightly smaller - though not as small as it was before the add-on.
My computer has a widescreen monitor, which may account for the problems; its dimensions are 1280 by 768. Quite a bit is taken up at the top and bottom by various toolbars.
Right now I am using the .5 version, which still works fine with my computer; I'll watch for the fixed version of this update when it comes out.
Thanks for this Add-On; it makes Homestar so much more fun to watch. Have a Nice Day!
Now it is no longer full screen, and there are white bars on the left and right sides that the animation bleeds into. Previous version worked perfectly.
