About this Add-on
Tip: Press either F9 or F12 to start speech, and Shift+F9 or Shift+F12 to stop speech.
FoxVox runs on Windows XP and Linux -- Windows Vista may require certain settings, but many users have said FoxVox runs on Vista. May run on other *nixes, Windows 2000 and 98, but has not been tested on those systems yet, please report. Anybody testing on Windows 7 please report back.
1) Windows Users: If you hear no speech, make sure your anti-virus or firewall is not blocking the visual basic scripts: speaknow.vbs, stopspeech.vbs, delmarkerfile.vbs. See version notes/history for details, if interested why.
2) The error saying Firefox cannot install an extension "because invalid file hash" is NOT a FoxVox or a Firefox bug. It is your cookie settings that are blocking the installer. Visit the following page on how to change your settings:

Due to a change in Firefox 3.5 for Windows, FoxVox requires the Windows Hosting Service (WHS) which is included by default anyway. WHS is installed with Internet Explorer 6+.
PLEASE use the contact page http://www.wordit.com to report bugs, or the contact link on the FoxVox homepage. See above.
