Doesn’t work on my Firefox Quantum 57.0 :-(
It's should be in firefox shortcut by default.
Thank you, save a lot of time.
Used to work great until the last version from April.
Since you don't have a bug report site, I'll drop mine here:
the addon has never worked after April's release, no inputs get focused or cycled.
For an example, test http://webster-dictionary.net. BTW from a quick inspection that site uses iframes.
Finally an extension that does a better job than "cycle input focus".
If someone wants to use non-alphanumeric hotkeys - for example: CTRL+[ and CTRL+] - it can be done by modifying extension's settings through about:config page (extensions.foxinput.*).
Or with keyconfig add-on, but it's not signed yet.
Seriously, this is a awestrucking time-saver! Every website has a search bar. You want to search somehting new after reading (and scrolling) the page? No scroll upwards anymore. Alt+i, then type what you want to search. Brillant, lightweight (in RAM usage), does exactly and only what it's meant to do. I highly recommend it!
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Why the heck there isn't a native shortcut key for this function is a complete mystery, but this add-on *works*. I wish I'd found it a long time ago.
I just press Alt-I and I can type straight into the search box of Thesaurus.com and other online dictionaries. What could be easier than that?
Keyboard-friendly addon that lets you access search fields, input fields etc without the need to switch from keyboard to mouse. Finally, I have been searching for this type of addon for years.
Thank you, for your essential contribution to the usability of Firefox! I often use dictionaries or google and, for me, your add-on has become indispensable in the daily use. I don't understand why such a function is not part of the standard ff-environment yet. However, the add-on is a great feature!
This is functionality I have been looking for some time. Seems to work well. Thanks, this is very useful!
This is a great little addon. Seems to work just fine so far. It's odd that Firefox doesn't have a built in keyboard shortcut to access textfields, but this fills in that gap quite nicely. Thanks for making this.
