The experimental version rocks! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Finally got around to downloading the experimental version; 2.2.2. Runs great! Love having the ability to bookmark my flagged tabs. Make this version non-experimental already!!!@

(Also, people, it's easy to turn off some of the features...right-click on a tab > FlagTab Options > Options)

Settings dialogue? Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I have to agree that this needs a settings dialog for the mentioned options to be turned off.

An other issue I have with this is that it makes the tab list save in the wrong way; so, everything will be turned upside down when you reopen Firefox and have it set so that it restores tabs.

Why does this interference with the tablist anyway, in a way that can cause this? Colouring the tabs should not require resorting; nor should it require overriding the saving method?

What I find good about it is that it is the only marker for unread tabs that runs with AgingTabs. Flags do not work, however.

If it only did tab coloring, it would be great.
But it does other annoying thing that made me uninstall it. It changes the position where new tab opens, it changes background color of all your tabs (instead of just the ones you want) and it assigns a random color to every new tab. Those things make it bigger pain than gain.

In one respect this addon is absolutely priceless: no other addon exists, that I know of, that can flag or otherwise mark tabs. OTOH, the interface is still slightly clunky and needs more customizability to be all it can be.

I recommend this for anyone overloaded with tabs.

I have found it really useful. I frequently use many, many tabs and am using it as a visual aid to navigate through them... I found it lacks color variety, or even that you can add your own colours from a palette.

love it but "clear this flag tab" makes the tab white. This is especially visible in themes

Very nice, But needs more colors! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is just what I was looking for, and works perfectly. The only flaws are:
1) The flag in the context menu should take the color of what is set in the options
2) Only has four colors. They are customizable, but more colors would be great.

Needs Session Saver Functionality Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I don't get that this thing has Session Recovery. If it has that, then why can't it remember it's state between sessions. Not being able to do so really limits the functionality of this add-on. I hope this is something you can add to it in the near future.

works great. only gripe is that when you clear a flag, the tab does not return to its original themed state. it instead turns white.

Very good, but need more colors then four and It conflict with the Aging Tabs. If solved this two questions, the rate is 100%

Great! But... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I really love this addon to pieces but I hate how it conflicts with the Aging Tabs addon. This isn't Flagtab's fault but not I'm torn between the two.

awesome! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

really useful tool for tab freaks like me. this plugin helps to keep track of important tabs when you have too many tabs open. just double click on a tab to change colour. also marks unread tabs! great work

Love the intention here but for me every time I pass my cursor over "Flag Tab Options" on the tab context menu, another "Flag Tab Options" spawns. It doesn't take long for me to have a long context menu full of these clones.

Removing double click event! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Ahaa. Very simple to edit out the double click event listener in the flagtab.xul document. I don't know how to make it an optional or I would post it here for anyone else who needs it that way. but if you open that document in notepad and delete the line that starts with
gBrowser.tabContainer.addEventListener("dblclick", and delete the WHOLE Line. Everything wil work ok but you won't get anything happen when you double click a tab.
Nice!

Slight problem... Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Great. Just what I was looking for but there is a real problem with it...I wish the option to disable the double click thing was available. I already have an addon that refreshes the tab when I double click and I am used to this. Now when I want to refresh the tab that way, it changes colour too. Is there any way of changing this setting?
Thanks!

Hey all,

Here's an update; So, I've updated FlagTab up to version 1.0.8, but, all those versions are stuck in the approval process. Without meaning to, I updated the long description before the update is there.

So, if you hang in there, an update should be out soon with much better features.
