Been using 'Peal Crescent page saver' for a couple of weeks until I found this program. This one kicks arse. It even comes with it's own edit program!
Unbelievable. Very nice job indeed.
FireShot Pro 15.00 USD hmmm... :(
Does this extension expose any API or function call so that I can use it with Selenium IDE?
One of the most practical add-on I have ever seen! Brilliant idea, superb execution. Simple and beautiful :-)
Firefox rocks, add-ons like FireShot makes it deep!
I make a lot of help and user-guide documents for the owners of web sites I develop, and this excellent little tool does precisely what I need. Excellent!
I've been looking for the "Capture entire page" feature (not only what my screen displays), I've finally got it :)
This is a great addon that is full featured for screenshots. My only gripe is that it won't capture screens with SearchStatus (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/321) installed in FF3.
This tool is wonderful. I am more efficient, and able present issues to different groups at work with better accuracy. Thanks!
Full resolution capture, this is a great tool.
Shame on stellar for the poor rating... you must be a pleasure to work with.
I PAID $19.95 for Surfsaver 6.1, it doesn't work with Foxfire and I'm not whining like a little child.
Handy and Convenient. Fireshot captures what is within your web-browser -- not your entire screen! So...you don't have to close all your tabs just to make a shot. The annotation feature is helpful, and also the ability to save in various formats. This is a life-saver.
When I first installed it, it did not work at all. Got an update that completely fixed it. Excellent dev extension. Props to susbox!
Very practical and reaty-to-use tool for document your development and testing. It's the end of the copy-paste-to-power-point "documentation".
This is one of the most incredible, PRACTICAL dev tools I've found.
HUGE props to susbox!!!
Great add on, makes screen shots very easy
A must have tool for UI designers and screen design debugging / feature description.
I love Snag It and turn to Paint Shop Pro occasionally some more advanced editing, but FireShot is definitely one of my newest favorite extensions. I love streamlining and consolidating my tools to save time and necessary steps and that's exactly what this tool does. Since I create a lot of videos, using Fireshot I am able to do a quick capture of a video screen, crop it and add title text to use as the cover image - all within firefox. Thanks for the efforts! (my only wishlist item? resize)
So good I nearly weed myself.
This is a great addon! As a web developer, I have started using this to mark up pages for our content providers and customers on the fly, allowing instant feedback without a lot of heavy-duty tools.
Excellent extension. It has all what a user needs, no more, no less. The ability to draw lines and boxes on the screenshot before saving it is a HUGE time saver. It is one of those "sliced bread" type of ideas - obvious, easy to make and everybody likes it. A must for web application testers.
Impressive.... I also had errors upon initial install. However this is a perfect solution for saving important documents in a NON PDF format for upload to Google Docs. Made storing receipts online very easy.
it can creates screenshots of scrolled webpages!
A useful piece of software. I've been using it for some time (along with ScreenGrab) and I've not had one problem with crashes. (And I'm running Vista!!)
I used the ScreenGrab extension for awhile and then switched to Pearl Crescent Page Saver Basic. Let me say that FireShot is a much more extensive and useful tool than either of those extensions.
The only problem I had with FireShot is that it crashed Firefox (3.0b4) immediately after saving a screen capture. The screen capture was successful, but what a pain! (I see that several other people in the reviews below have also experienced this problem.)
I did some troubleshooting and discovered that the problem is not due to an incompatibility with another extension; it is due to the FireShot button on the toolbar (believe it or not). If I remove the button FireShot works perfectly. If I place it back on the toolbar FireShot starts crashing again. This isn't a major problem for me since FireShot is also available in the mouse context menu.
The aforementioned problem combined with the lack of an undo feature is why I gave FireShot a rating of 9.
The best I've tried. Useful. No problems.
Thank you for this very slick tool. I\'m a web developer/designer communicator-wonk and so much of my interaction with my clients is via slideshows. I\'ve used a couple of other programs but always went back to grabbing screen shots, cropping/resizing and then adding text boxes, callouts, arrows, etc. myself, including having to remember to grab the URL. A ton of work (read \'time\') to get things looking the way I want but communicating clearly with my clients is of paramount importance to me, For what I need to accomplish, Fireshot is my newest \'best friend!\" -- Thanks!\r\n
