Other apps do this better Not yet rated
I like the integration directly into Firefox, but Screenshot Captor does a more thorough job of handling everything I might want to do in terms of creating a shot, and Webswoon handles bulk screenshots. Without the distraction and controversy of this fellow "tagging" his users with "user-agent" shennanigans.
No doubt the author will respond, as is his right. But of course, this review is my right as well, and nothing I've said is false.
What about quick annotation tools?
Did you try to add many comments to your screenshots using SS Captor? Try FireShot and compare :)
Very handy tool Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Thx a lot for creating this screengrab utility. Comes in very handy, as I regularly create How-To pages. I often drag existing pictures into FF because Blur/Crop/... features are just a few mouse clicks away. Great time saving utility! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.36).
Didn't think i could be used in this manner :)
Excellent free screengrab util! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Does everything I need: capture, crop, add annotations and saves in JPEG and PNG. A most excellent add-on for those of us who need to share screen captures quickly with peers and co-workers.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.35).

Hotkey error Rated 4 out of 5 stars
the "add text" and "add pointer" hot keys are switched aroundThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.35).
However, there's no need to post it both in review and discussion topics.
It would be enough of simple "Good" there if you wanted just to rate it (but anyway thanks)

Quick, quick Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Absolutely great this little tool.
In a few seconds I get my screen shots without having to open any other application.
But... and the mac'ers?! Don't forget the mac'ers!
FANTASTIC!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I love this capture ware! Honestly, I have tried dozens of screen capture tools, and hadn't found one which lived up their lofty claims. FireShot did not make any wild claims, but it certainly should, cause it has performed brilliantly! It's flawless, never crashes and simple to use. The editing features should be the envy of all the other developers! Highly recommended. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.35).
SWF banners not saved Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It is a great feature and really shortens amount of time spent on making screenshots, but as I work in online advertising it would be really great if banners (ads) would be included in the screenshot. Since this is what I need to document advertising campaign. GIF banners are...but SWF are not (any solutions? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.35).
This feature is included in FireShot Pro edition which will be available soon.
A very useful time saver! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Compatifbility Issues Rated 4 out of 5 stars
The utility overall is great. However, due to its version number, some web applications see Firefox 2.0 as being Firefox .35. This is a problem with some web sites and I haven't figured out how to rectify the problem. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.35).
could you please specify these sites?
Great Tool Rated 4 out of 5 stars
FireShot is the most I use firefox pluggin. Thanks.
But it needs some improvement:
- Selection copy ar save without cropping
- And multi selection tool (selection subtraction or adding)
those would be very useful features to improve our productivity.
Great application but I would love to choose where the Prefix goes!!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
The only thing I find inconvenient about this software is that it adds the prefix: "FireShot capture #3 -" to every single file it creates.
I would like to see a feature that enables me to choose if I want this as a Prefix or Suffix.
I find this really inconvenient as a Prefix.
I believe this is a simple implementation.

Can we set the width of the screen shots saved? Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Is it possible to set the width/height of the screen shots saved? When I use these screenshots on my wordpress blog, different themes require different width of the picture embeded, 800px, 500px, or some else, and I have to resize these screen shots after I have saved it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.32).
New Version is Malware Not yet rated
The new version is malware! Do not use! After installation firefox user agent is modified to include the string "FireShot/0.32". After uninstall the user agent still includes the string. To remove type "about:config" in firefox address bar, modify general.useragent.extra.fireshot" to a blank entry .This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.32).

Fantastic Rated 4 out of 5 stars
VERY useful. Thank you for creating this. I find that you can't capture IE tabs, but you can still edit these if saved as image files.
