Humble request for a new feature to be implemented in the Add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Note: The developer has considered adding this feature.

Personal note: I wish the developer success and happiness in his endeavors. I like to thank him for not just developing this Add-on, but also for his handling of things in a polite way when I requested him for this feature. For me, as an amateur programmer, the author's politeness will go down as a lesson learned.

Functionality/Feature requested: To automatically split a long webpage into multiple pages (especially to save as a PDF file or multiple image files) instead of manual selection (yes it is possible, but a tedious process which involves saving each cropped file you have cropped using Fireshot and merging it using an external application). This functionality would be a time saver. For example, when you capture a (very) long webpage to save as a PDF file, the whole page is considered as a single page. This functionality would split the page into multiple pages as desired by the user and/or configured by the developer based on page size (height and width). To be able to split the pages horizontally and/or vertically (although we understand that the complexity of such a function would mean user would have to select either horizontal or vertical splitting for a webpage in a given instance, a full-featured functionality could be considered by the developer for future versions after test or beta versions of the Add-on with the basic functionality).

With a few implementations, this Add-on would be, by far, the best utility Add-on you can get for Firefox. It would greatly save your time and would be a must have, and the best part is that you will get a 30-day fully functional evaluation version to test it out yourselves.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.98.38).

Thanks, saving to multi-page PDF-s is now available in FireShot Pro v. 98.40
