There is no point in releasing software unless it is possible to use it.
There are no instructions on how to start the program and no icon appears anywhere to show that the program exists. The only sign that it has been installed is if you go to the Add-ons Manager, and even then it does not tell you how to actually use the thing.
Please use right click on web page to get firesaver option. Or you can find it in "Options" menu which will, by default, be hidden in firefox until you press 'Alt' key. Hope this helps.

Work's perfectly! in few clicks make web page functionality available in offline
Thank you for the feedback!
Firesaver 3.2.0 works on FF31 ESR Win7/64 pro. But fails as indicated earlier on a newer version of Firefox and OS.
Any chance for a fix?
This will be fixed in next release. It has occurred due to an firefox API change.
It don't recognize internal links (anchors), and produce piles of html pages like: page1#anchor1.html, page1#anchor2.html, .... page1#anchor155.html
In additional, it can't found images on a webpage with thumbnails and direct linked images...
And, in additional, their grabbing level always set to 1 (the combobox is always disabled)....
(tested with FireFox 3.6.16)
Identification of anchors is now added to version 3.0.0.
How do you enable more more link depths? So far I love this add-on. I wish it would have more automatic features. Spider it up a bit!
Program works just fine. However, if you are saving a page that has files in different subdirectories, the add-on will download all the files to the same root directory.
For example, if home.htm has download links in subdirectories such as /downloads/file1.htm and /examples/file2.htm then obviously the links, even though you download the page, will look for those directories, which this add-on does not create. In this case, FireSaver would save file1 and file2 in the same directory as main.htm and, so, you end up having to organize the directories manually.
On the flip side, if a page has several downloads this does half the work for you. The add-on could use some work.
Downloads one file at a time only.
this addon is full of spam
it adds horrible adverts on your firefox statusbar
Status bar icons are now removed except for SiteGrabber icon.
I am saving page with images, which are located on the other server. Images a saved. But links to them are not changed and when I open saved page they are still loading from remote server - not from my local directory. There must be some changes in saved page code, I think.
On the other hand some links are converted, but after that they lead to nowhere.
Also, may be, there is a reason to save all file except starting in the separate folder, keeping the folders tree structure as in entire site.
It will be very useful to make more extended filters.
Installs some added spyware search bars along with it. Fortunately, uninstalling removes it.
It's an added feature for one click search. This feature will be removed depending on other user comments. Have a nice day.
