Firepost enables you to quickly and easily:
* Sign in to your App.net (https://join.app.net/) account
* Make quick postings from within Firefox (small window, shortcut enabled ctrl/cmd+shift+s)
* View App.net user profiles and app.net hastags from the Firefox AwesomeBar (address bar) via an option setting.
* Quickly share postings from other users (posted to your own stream)
* Post to App.net from Twitter's share window
* Receive notifications when you're mentioned
* Receive notifications when you're followed
Note: on OS X notifications require either Growl (http://growl.info/) or Firefox 17 + Mountain Lion. On Windows notifications use the built-in Firefox notification system.
